Mulligans

General Mulligans

No matter the matchup, you want Crystallizer turn one. One of the biggest weakness of the deck is not being injured when you need to be and Crystallizer solves that without losing any health and providing a great tempo 1-drop.

Next keep is Crystalsong Portal for two reasons. One, your odds of having only spells in your hand at the start is pretty high meaning you can get the most value out of Crytsalsong, and two, there are a lot of times where even with minions in your hand, you will want to cast this card for some tempo and options.

Keep Lucentbark for slow matchups where you want to get him out early. The other weakness of this deck is not getting Lucentbark when you need and being stuck without a finisher.

Aggro Mulligans

All of these are pretty straightfoward keeps for aggro. Crystallizer is a great 1-drop to contest the board and set you up for heals, while the rest act as board clears, spot removal, board presence, and draw, to help carry you into the mid and late game.

Control Mulligans

Slow matchups you want to focus on getting your value cards so you can kill them off quick and get the gameplan going. Crystallizer is still great becasue it gives you room to heal which is really good in control matches where you might not be getting damaged until it's too late. Floop is on here because against things like control Mage and Shaman you want him in hand when you drop your Lucentbark incase he gets polymorphed/hexed. This way you can still recover with floop and a swipe or floop into a faceless. Also really try and get value out of your portals. Right now the odds of getting another Lucentbark are very high due to the small card pool, and the more Lucentbarks you have, the better.

Deck is pretty straightfoward but takes a bit of getting used too. Ideal gameplan is keep up board control until Lucentbark drops, then either make multiples through the use of Undatakah or Faceless and win through a wall of returning taunts.
