Mulligans

General Mulligans

The deck seeks to take hold of the game from the get-go and these cards are there to help you do that.  This is your mulligan against any type of deck.

This deck is an adaptation to a midrange DK hunter deck that was listed as a good deck list.  I’ve altered it considerably but wanted to make that clear.  This deck looks to control the board, prevent card shortages and if it can’t secure the win by turn 9, have the means to finish the game.

I’ve played over 60 games with it and it ranges between a 50-60% win rate, as of the time of this post I believe it’s sitting at 54%.

A few things to consider:

Deathstalker Rexxar: This card is essentially your 3rd explosive trap, but beware, your giving up your sledgehammer hero power when you use it.  I’d suggest using it as an AOE if absolutely necessary or if it’s clear for whatever reason the game is going to last beyond 10 rounds.

King Krush: Great finisher and players don’t really expect it, hold him back like a Leeroy unless absolutely necessary.

Cult Master: You should see multiple opportunities to make use of Cult Master putting a positive spin on things when you inevitably have to run multiple smaller minions into a larger enemy.

Toughest Match-up:  Druid, whether aggro, jade, or Big, this is likely to be your toughest opponent.  I’ve seriously considered dropping a LongBow to fit a geist into the deck.

Possible card swaps: I realize everyone (including me) likes to make a change to put their personal stamp on a deck.  Personally, when I look at the deck, I think the LongBow and possibly Cult Master are potential candidates.

Costs can be significantly lowered by swapping out the LongBows with Minions and King Krush himself, though that would be sad.
