Deck Import

This is just a theory deck I made to try to break the current evolve meta of jade evolve. This deck packs no jade summoning items at all, despite any synergy they may have with evolve, and instead choose niche control cards that’s only purpose is to enter the battlefield (i.e. Big Game Hunter , Antique Healbot , and Elise the Trailblazer ).

This card aims to control the board early with a variety of damage spells and a couple small creatures, and then pull into an evolve at about turn five or six.

Substitutions:

Elise the Trailblazer  , I would use really whatever you like hear, I chose Elise because A. I have them B. They will normally survive to evolve and C. They put late game potential into your deck . Easy subs could be anything from Lotus Agents to novice engineer, if you have trouble getting the right cards on time.

Gluttonous Ooze , This is easy, just use acidic ooze!

Rattling Rascal This isn’t necessary, but sets the deck apart a little. I would suggest something like spellbreaker to fill the four slot, although if you have another good option, feel free to try it!

Thrall, Deathseer Dont have thrall? Well, In that case try to pick either your favorite finisher or something for card draw to find your evolves!

Big Game Hunter  This is another card you can put spellbreaker in for or something else in the way of control like another hex( use hex only if you can’t find a control creature of any kind, I would suggest kabal songstealer before hex though)

Mulligans:

Generally mulligan for evolve, fire fly, Golakka crawler, flametongue totem, mana tide totem and Stonehill defender against almost any class except…

Rogue or Warlock

In the case or rogue or warlock mulligan hard for devolve. Devolve is the counter to Darkshire Councilman, flame imp, cold blood, and Edwin van Cleef, it’s normally necessary to win in these match ups.
