This seems like a really neat card.
As others have pointed out you can send this over to your opponent side so you can possibly trigger it’s deathrattle, but what not many people seem to be considering how doing so also has a chance to sabotage a deathrattle deck your opponent may be running.
The only problem is that if your opponent has Moat Lurker this cards is hard countered.

One cool thing about this in evolve shammy is that you don’t really need to evolve the 5/5, just the 4 cost 2/2 is a huge priority so it combos really well with the deathknight hero power on 6 and you can save your evolves for doppel still.

4 mana 7/7 in stats has spawned a meme. This could be potentially stronger than Flamewreathed because of the lack of overload.

If you’re aggro and your opponent has to choose between taking care of the 5/5 and whatever other minions are on board, or kill the 2/2 and get their own 5/5 which may not even be a factor, that ends up being a net gain for you: You get to use that 5/5 first.

Naturally, you don’t want to play this card when you’re losing, but this could apply a huge amount of pressure on your opponent.

I think cards such as Purify and Treachery will be way too slow to combo with this: Two cards and extra 2/3 mana for a 7/7? I’ll pass.

Quick correction: Treachery would make it a 7 mana 10/10 technically, but in a very slow, roundabout way. Just not good enough.

There’s maybe some potential for this card in Purify Priest as a “4 mana 7/7”. This looks appealing with the new Warlock card, but it isn’t. At that point you’re spending 7 mana to get 10/10 worth of stuff, but you also gave you opponent a 2/2. And it cost two cards. So two cards for a 7 mana 8/8? Yeah… unappealing.

Has a little hope in Purify Priest though, imo.

It’s a 6 mana 7/7 in purify. That’s not any better than treachery. Definitely worth testing this + evolve on 5. 3 evolves + 4 evolve targets would make the deck a lot more consistent.

Keep in mind that Purify plays a “5 mana 4/8”, which is basically on par with a “6 mana 7/7”

The card draw effect attached makes you willing to pay that extra mana and what makes it better than treachery. Or you can just silence it for zero. That’s an option too.

The 5 mana 4/8 works well with healing and divine spirit though. A 2/2 is just a throwaway minion in priest.

Yeah, no it’s not. It doesn’t specifically synergize with anything, but Priest won’t say no to having an extra 2/2 on the board, especially when it has a 5/5 stapled to it.

You’re right that Humongous Razorleaf does have a better body for a priest deck, but that doesn’t make this card a write-off for Priest. I’d honestly say the deck could benefit from having another thing to silence so you’re not just sitting on your ass waiting for Ancient Watcher or Razorleaf to show up (which frequently happens to me because my luck is shit). And this thing is pretty reasonable for what it offers.

I think we see the treachery lock deck being formed now.

For warlock, its a 2 card combo for 7 mana that gives your oponent a 2/2 and you get 10/10 in stats.

    Seems ok.

      Also works with purify.

Would you play a 7 mana 8/8? I wouldn’t. Would you play a 7 mana 8/8 that cost you two cards? Definitely not.

Perfekt with the New Warlock Card that let u give the control over a minion to your enemy !!!

rly nice Combo u get a 5/5 and the another 5/5 from the Deathrattle !!

      August 5, 2017 at 4:45 am

but you give the 5/5 to your opponent first and then have to trade into it, it’s a pretty shit combo. And that isn’t even taking into account keeping him around for a turn.

        August 5, 2017 at 5:18 am

You get the 5/5 from the battlecry, you give them the 2/2 Deathrattle with the Warlock spell, and you trade and get another 5/5. Overall a gain of 8/8’over your opponent for 7 mana over two cards.

        You give your opponent 2/2.

you can use this card in a silence priest deck . on turn 4 play this minion then silence and u have 2 minions on board.

Probably the best way to avoid the deathrattle is to play it in an Evolve deck. if it doesn’t die the next turn it curves into DK Thrall, so I guess that’s kinda cool.

The problem is that still gives them 1 turn to kill it, and if they know you’re an evolve deck it’ll most likely be a high priority target. But if you play it then play the card evolve i think it isn’t horrible, however, I still don’t think it warrants a spot in that deck.

This card is a 2/5 at most.
Good luck with your gimmick combos because a 2-2 is so easy to kill that you’ll need to wait for turn 7 if you want to use treachery.
2 trash cards will onky make your deck worse πŸ™‚

Everyone missing the fact that this is OP? Imagine this with the new hunter card “Play Dead”, then you get 3 5/5 minions

Yes let’s give our opponent one more 5-5, read better πŸ˜‰

Speaking of evolve what if you evolve a 3 mana minion to this…

Seems more of a nerf to evolve shaman

For 5 mana get a random 5 and 6 mana minion

But the token cost might be 2 or 4 so that’s a thing to worry about

Its 4 mana for 7/7 in stats, spread across two bodies and it doesn’t even have overload. Seems like a great include for evolve shaman. Watch this card, it seems good.

You fuggas the better play is with the new warlock card treachery

Will see play in evolve shaman.
5 mana play this and evolve for 5 and 6 cost is not only a ton of value, it completely ignores the downside of this card.

    • Matt
      August 4, 2017 at 11:40 pm

It will be interesting to see if that is strong enough. Jade spirit didn’t make the cut and was quite a bit more flexible.

      • DeNoce
        August 4, 2017 at 11:52 pm

Good comparison. Assuming the 5/5 is a 5 cost, the difference would be that this will always give you a 5 cost on turn 4. Jade spirit will give a 2-3 cost turn 4 with a good start. Jade spirit could give you more value in the late game when your jades are 6-7 costs. But at that point, your just playing jades, not evolve shaman.
I think that difference is significant enough for this to be a strong piece in evolve shaman. This is also less than 5 mana so it can be played later in the game with Thrall, Deathseer.

Okay arena card, turn 4 head start with 7/7, only if u have answer for the 5/5 , id say, if there are three shitty epic choice i would choose this

May as well make it a warlock card, that’s the only class it is really viable in (save silence priest maybe)

      Silence priest
      Warlock
      Evolve shaman
      Panda rogue
The unknown factor is also there
