I personally prefer to try and get Finale and Confection in my hand on the open, because most of the other things you draw will be able to help control the board. If you are not a gambler like me and want a safer route, try and get Spellwing, Mirror, and/or Amplifier in your hand for a strong opening and look to control and draw cards when you can to get you Confection/Finale combo.

This Elemental deck revolves around Grand Finale and dropping 4 or more 8/8 sparklers a couple times during the game. Use some low cost spells, Cyclone, and Amplifier to control the board early taking face shots while possible. The goal is to get Confection and Finale in your hand with a Counterspell if possible. Turn 7 is Confection and one or both Sugars, Counterspell, and if you have room play something else as well. Turn 8 is Grand Finale. This drops at least three or four 8/8 sparklers on the board on turn 8, and most decks have no way to answer. Counterspell is really useful, especially if it’s late game, to stop the board clear spells from ruining the game plan.

I’ve been currently doing a trial run in Casual with this deck. I’ve won the majority of games so far, with the couple of losses going to aggro decks early in the build that were able to out-tempo me by a turn. I adjusted a bit and removed a couple higher cost Elementals in lieu of some low cost spells to help out early. I’m still tuning and have yet to try it in Ranked, but it’s a blast to play! The only change I would recommend at the moment is adding a second Mana Cyclone and removing Chenvaala, just because there aren’t a ton of spells in the deck, and you will rarely have three spells to throw out at your disposal to take advantage of him.
