General Mulligans

Witch apprentice is your actual turn one card, so you may want it early.
Turn 3 you want Feral Spirit or Lighting storm, But the second can be dead on hand vs control matches.

Lesser Spellsstone can be great on hand vs slow decks as it will stack pretty fast.

Doing some theorycrafting with witchwood revealed cards.
The point of this deck is try to perfect curve with a baku odd deck, through playing overload cards. Baku upgraded hero power must be used to summon Wrath of Air totems (+1spell damage) most of the time, synerging with your spell cards. And there are some taunt cards to protect your totems.

Example (A pretty ideal one):
Turn 1: Witch Apprentice (you can get an even cost spell)
Turn 2: Hero Power (WoA Totem)
Turn 3: 3  cost spell (Feral Spirit, Lighting Storm), overload 2.
Turn 4: Hero Power (WoA Totem)
Turn 5: Earth elemental, or Drakkari + Hero Power. Overload 3.
Turn 6: 3 cost Spell.

Context on some cards:
Witch Apprentice -> Has Taunt, can give you an even cost spell
Unstabble Evolution -> Can be played even (any) number of times
Far Sight -> Not sure if i should include or not this cards (thus i just included 1), synergises with 5+ cost cards, turning them even.
Unbound Elemental -> Not sure about this card. Has Overload synergy but likely screw your curve if played on turn 3 (ironically).
Volcano -> Just doesnt fit in this deck, but it is a good card if things get out of control.
Wictchwood Grizzly -> Didnt find better 5 cost minions for this decks, hoping for better WW Shaman cards to be revealed.
Lesser Shappire -> Very unsure about this one (as you can have your board filled with totems). More Overload synergies, and an alternative Win condition. You can play it on earth elemental, Snowfury giant combo or even on Malygos (you know this wont ever happen).
Malygos -> Spell Damage synergy
Snowfury Giant -> Pretty good Overload synergy.

At this point you may be thinking this is some of these decks that seems good on paper but it just doesnt work. Well maybe it is, but there are still some shaman cards to be revealed (stiil not a single overload one), wich could help this deck take form (As it lacks of 5 cost cards).

Hi, I’ll comment since you want my opinion 🙂
First of all, your English seems fine to me. I didn’t notice that it’s not your first language. There were one or two odd word choices (heh… odd… baku…), but it wasn’t a big deal.

I’ve played this deck in the current meta (well, my version of it) and you definitely need Healing Rain. And two copies of Volcano. Any efficient aggro deck will run you over with minions, since you’re only playing a minion on every other turn, due to overload. Volcano lets you stabilize and get to the mana where you can start playing minions every turn. And Healing Rain lets you heal the damage that you take from the early game. Also, there are some control decks (priest, mage) that are playing Alexstrasza and burn damage, so healing rain really helps with those.

From personal experience, Unbound Elemental isn’t really worth it. You can give it a try, but it’s just mediocre even in the best of scenarios.

Also, I think you’ll want more card draw. Acolyte of Pain is really good in decks like this.

Anyway, cool deck! If you want to give mine a look, here’s the link: http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/baku-spellstone-shaman-the-witchwood/

Hi, first of all thank for reading and commenting.

I also use to play a version of this deck in the current standard year. And you may be righ, i run two copies of healing rain, and always end up using one of them (if not both) when facing aggro.

Volcano is useful in given scenarios, but my point is, by the same mana cost you can just Hero Power (Baku) + Lightning Storm, without killing your own minions. This combo may get better for each WoA Totem in your battlefield side.

I have found Unbound elemental a good 3 drop wich can in a few games grow to a 3/5, 4/6 or even more. But i actually dont find him very fitting in this specific deck (it fits but aint that great).

Im not very sure if ill need that much card draw in this deck, as Spellstone + Giant combo is not the main theme there, but face spells. I think wicth apprentice giving you a card can help prevent getting out of resources. But ill consider adding more card draws. I actually saw your deck, and i liked the idea of Stonehill Defender (i think discover cards can be really good on Odd/Even Decks). Ill probably replace Unbound elemental by stonehill, but ill wait till monday for full reveal.

Ill keep an eye on your deck, an likely try both of them once the expansion is released, as they share most of the cards.

This is my first posted selfmade deck, tell me your opinions even if you think it wont work. Ill be glad if someone finds this at least interesting.
Ill keep updating this deck as more cards are revealed, and as i read your comentaries.
English is not my first language, so any correction may be helpful.
    That said thanks for reading.
