General Mulligans

Personally I'd prefer to have Neeru in hand as early as possibly so if you have in hand or can mulligan for it I would do so tbh since if you mill it winning just becomes that much harder. Spirit jailer for obvious reasons, play altar whenever but maybe if its more combo styled like cthun then playing altar sooner maybe to destroy combo soon as possible? Not sure though altar in start doesn't seem like a bad possibility, faster mills, though I'd say to play your deck destruction only when neeru is in hand just to make sure tbh. Backfire is just a nice draw engine that potentially draws more controlling cards or bigger stuff for later on. Drain soul and soul rend just for the early game control in case its aggro but also soul rend can be used mid game which is nice imo. Though obviously matchups differ the hand you want but id say spirit jailer, neeru, soul rend and backfire are all definite keeps regardless

I’m just quickly making decks while i still have the ideas in my head. There is a lot wrong with this list but mainly need to balance controlling the board and having enough lifesteal to keep yourself alive while also drawing/destroying your deck. Stuff like manrik and envoy are here for after the deck is destroyed preferably. Obviously theres a lot of cards here that aren’t optimal, I think after a few weeks of the new expansion being out I’d add in tech cards, like ooze for warrior if they go aggro or the secret stealer one for secret pally. Possibly add in school spirits and maybe head down a more soul sagrant road in case the “meta” shapes into another aggro fiesta. All just depends but with a quick and blind process this is the deck, very bad I know but could take shape after the expansion releases and we know whats what.
