Mulligans

General Mulligans

I am not too sure about the Mulligan given we still do not know of the archetypes before the release of the expansion, but generally speaking, keeping board control cards in hand is essential to carry you through mid and late game where this deck really pops off. Cutting Class is good because it combos with Sword Eater, while Cutting Class combos nicely with Outrider's Axe, providing you with more card draw. Acidic Swamp Ooze is great against Rogue or other weapon archetypes to deny your opponent the ability to draw cards.

Budget Control-Tempo  Warrior

Given the flux of new and revamped cards featuring in the Core Set, I have tried to go through all of the cards to try and make doable decks which can be crafted with minimal dust, thus on a tight budget. One of those decks would be precisely this one

The Deck features only two craftable Epic Cards, being Mor’shan Elite from the Forged in the Barrens, while the rest are just rare and commons, while all of the Legendaries and Brawl  from this deck are given away for free in the Core Set.

Overlord Runthak Taelan Fordring Alexstrasza the Life-Binder Ysera the Dreamer

The main purpose of this deck is generating and buffing up both Rush and Taunt Minions, making them sticky enough to develop board presence, thus the general playstyle of this deck is early game survival with Minefield ,Sword Eater and Athletic Studies until you reach Mid-Game when the deck really starts to spike in tempo play, as the Taunt Minions are getting buffed up, Mor’shan Elite duplicated on board , while in the Late game, Ysera and Alekstrasza act as finishers, value generation, allowing you to close the game with additional damage or healing , refilling your hands with Ysera’s Dream cards, which are fairly decent .

Card Draw :

The Draw of this deck is plenty, with cards like  Cutting Class ; Taelan Fordring, Outrider's Axe Stage Dive Which enables you to draw consistently through your deck on most given turns.

Board Control – Disruption

Cards like Minefield, Brawl, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Shadow Hunter Vol’jin and Coerce are the main supplement to ensure your survival throughout the game. Whether you intend to disrupt a combo with Vol’jin or destroy a Rogue’s Weapon with Acidic Ooze, this package should aid you in reaching mid-late game when you can pop off your taunt combo and rush synergy.
