Probably just a good core card in warrior for the next 2 years. I imagine this will see about as much play as something like omega devastator, where it is really good early in the cycle but slowly sees less and less play as better options become available

Yeah… This is just good across the board.
Much like how Mage had Conjurer, Warrior has Morshan.
This is just going to see play with any Warrior that’s going to use a warrior if it’s that being just a Sword Eater. which means Morshan elite and Sword Eater are automatically best friends! Horray! 😀

    Oh, and uhm. 4 Stars.

Now, why did I give it 4 stars and now 5? well it’s becuase Mage was trying to get flexibility with Conjurer, with or without the secret, and Warrior is just 5 Mana, but they also get Taunt. And I can’t believe I’m saying this, but seems to be just a tad bit expensive for what your getting, even if you shut off your brain and just say “It’s basically a 5 mana 8/8, what’s the big deal?”

I’m curious to see if Warrior is going to copy Secret Mage’s Homework, where they try to make Morshan even more ridiculous in stats, and making it a 5 mana 12/12 in stats for example, with Customed Entertainer. Maybe Warrior might try out Moonfang as well. Or Maybe they’ll go Full-on N’Zoth and Whatley becuase they had inspiration from Secret Mage.

The Ideas are up in the air, all for one card. so, who knows what will happen, but overall I’m pretty optimistic about this card. But I just imagine that other players would say something like: “5 mana is felt a bit awkward, but whatever, I’ll use it” when they are in sticky situations.

The card’s good. But, to be frank, it’s kinda boring. It does curve perfectly on T5 from Sword Eater on T4.

Yeah I agree. Paying 5 mana for 2 4/4s isn’t exactly the most exciting stuff now, especially after Mage got pretty much the same thing last expansion with the 4/4 conjurer minion, but it cost 4 instead of 5.

But it might go beyond just pairing well with sword eater – both this card and sword eater have taunt, so we might see some taunt synergy again for warrior. But I still got my doubts for this card, so probably a 2-3/5 for me.

It is definitely worth more than 2 stars, as x2 4/4 Taunt for 5 is still pretty amazing. It’s just not a super interesting effect, but it’s great. Warrior has a few weapons that can hold their own even after rotation, so if we get some more this’ll be crazy good. I think it’s at very least worth 3 stars and I honestly think it can make it to 4.
