Mulligans

General Mulligans

Potion of madness is great for early control, and drawing from enemy Acolyte of Pain's.

Northshire Cleric is a good minion, good health and can draw for us.

Shadow word: Pain can kill almost all 1 2 and 3 mana minions, especially dangerous ones like Froathing Berserker.

Aggro Mulligans

Against pirate warrior: Pyromancer, Ooze, and Tar Creeper slow down your enemy extremely well.

Aganist aggro paladin: Almost all murlocs have 1 or 2 health (even finja has 2 health) so keep Shadow word: horror. You can also keep Mind control tech because almost all paladin decks flood the board with minions.

Midrange Mulligans

Disrupt their tempo.

Combo Mulligans

There isn't much we can do against quest rogue, which is the main weakness of this build. Play lyra on turn 5 and pray it lives, otherwise you won't be able to stop your opponent.

You can also try to get a counterspell from kabal courier to counter the quest spell, or a board clear like dragonfire potion.

Control Mulligans

Kabal Courier is for getting counter cards to their playstyle.

Elise + Shadow Visions is great, you can get up to 3 packs from Elise this way, out-value your enemy.

The purpose of this deck is to topple most of the meta decks, especially Pirate Warrior, Aggro Paladin, and Taunt Warrior.

Used for small minion trading against aggro, take their minions and kill each other off, especially great against pirate warrior to kill Nzoth First Mate with Patches at 1 mana. Also great to use against Acolyte of Pain, by denying your enemy the draw and drawing yourself.

Use when you desperately need a new card, or when you have used Elise the Trailblazer to get another pack.

No brainer, its for stopping or slowing down aggro decks.

This can be used with small mana cost spells we have, like Power Word: Shield and Potion of Madness , even maybe Shadow Word: Pain

This card is a great card against all warriors, rogues, paladins that are in the meta, even some other decks featuring Medivh, the Guardian. Against midrange paladins featuring Tirion Fordring , just use Shadow Word: Death and Gluttonous Ooze and watch him concede.

This is for longer timed games against control or tempo decks, or when you have no other cards to counter your enemy.

Very good against aggro and midrange paladin, and sometimes good against taunt warrior, pirate warrior and quest rogue.

This is the all mighty aggro stopper, we used to use Sen'jin Shieldmasta for 4 mana, now we have almost the same card with 3 mana. Especially good against pirate warrior and aggro paladin, has good synergy with Northshire Cleric as it has good health and is good for protecting Lyra the Sunshard .

THE card you want against taunt warrior, as they have like 8 taunts that are vulnerable to this card, in addition to Acolyte of Pain. Also good against pirate warrior and aggro paladin.

THE card you want against those pesky mages, and paladins. Remember that almost all paladins run a Hydrologist now.

Is a great card because of two reasons: it heals us greatly and is a big fat minion on the board. Casting one or two spells after this minion is a great help to stay alive.

Is THE card you want when you are facing a non-aggro deck, as this becomes our win condition. You can keep elise in your hand and get at least one Shadow Visions, play elise and play shadow visions and get a card immediately, safest play is to go fatigue and THEN play elise, and play two shadow visions for maximum value.

Is another win condition, you can get practically infinite number of spells from her, and making a 10-10 or 20-20 lyra is easier than you might think.
