Mulligans
Aggro Demon Hunter Mulligan Guide
Higher Priority (Keep every time)
- 1-drops – Battlefiend, Intrepid Initiate, Blazing Battlemage – those three have the highest priority, because they’re good to drop on T1 in most of the circumstances. And you ABSOLUTELY want to open with a good 1-drop. However, Demon Companion is also okay, but rolling a 1/2 version of Leokk on T1 is not amazing.
- And that’s it. 1-drops have the highest priority. Unless you already have a good card to play on T2, mulligan for it! Other stuff you will find.
Lower Priority (Keep only if certain conditions are met)
- As long as you already have your good 1-drops, here are few more cards you can keep:
- Beaming Sidekick / Guardian Augmerchant – Both are great T2 plays, you either drop them on a 1-drop you already have on the board, or just play them together with a 1-drop on T2. Augmerchant has an extra use of a small removal, but Sidekick is better proactive play.
- Cult Neophyte – Against decks that run early game removal. 3/2 for 2 might not seem that great, but if you already have a 1-drop on the board, you play Neophyte, AND you stop your opponent from throwing their removal at you… that’s success.
- Wriggling Horror – This is an amazing snowball card, but you want to keep it with at least two 1-drops already in your hand.
