Was trying to make a mage deck work as mage is my favorite class. Played around and found this was a very successful list. Went 17-3 climbing to 120 legend after dropping to around 600 from testing.

More recently went 13-1climbing from 500 to 36 legend.

General Gameplan- Gain early tempo and get your opponent within burn range, and finish them with burn or Medivh.

Edit: removed spellbender after the nerf for another ice block.

This deck is horrible against the current meta. 99% of decks are super fast agro.

What’s the gameplan for this deck if you lose early game tempo? Seems like that would happen a lot with only 2 main 1-2 tempo plays.

Usually you gain board back with medivh and blizzard and the portals, or you burn face.

I tried this deck with a greast win rate until yesterday (70%). Now I have 50% wr because I had really big problems with aggro decks. I think there aren’t enough AoE spells for take board control if you lost it in early game.
Can you think about some video to understand how play this deck properly?*

    * I played the last version, not this one with cobalt.

Really effective for current meta (xx/10/2017).
I reached legendary lank via this list.

This is the greatest deck I’ve ever used. It’s ability to out tempo all decks and finish them of with burn is amazing. Medivh is super good to use in the late game when you’re freezing the board or burning them. And when you start getting low, throwing out frost lich Jains can save you the game.

Also, Cantelope went 8-2 with it on stream…. Definently tier 1.

In Canterope stream, he used Jaina instead of blizzard in this list.

Ya we were testing a few things that stream including frost lich jaina instead of blizzard. I still prefer blizzard because it can help freeze the board and develop a 6 drop with medivh or just push face dmg with minions.
