(i have enough dust to create one of them)

    1 – MRYAGUT’S TOP-10 LEGEND MIDRANGE HUNTER

To be honest i wasn’t expecting a reply to my previous comment.
Just an update for people who are using this deck: the only change i did was replacing a Doomsayer with an Explosive Trap.
At the moment i am rank 9 in the season and i found having an Explosive Trap to be a little more consistent.
There are a lot of ways in which a Doomsayer can be destroyed and most of the times i use it only to buy a little more time when i don’t have a good hand.
The Explosive Trap can also be very very good when facing Zoo Lock or Shaman.

    Hello everyone.

I just completed this deck a few days ago and i have to say it is pretty good. I had more winnings with this deck compared to the mid shaman one for example.

I have a question regarding it: from my previous battles not every time my Doomsayers were doing a good job. I got for example some very bad luck with shamans where they had lighting strike and rockbiter weapon. My question is: would it be better for example to switch a Doomsayer with a Fire Trap? Even if they manage to kill the Doomsayer (and if they kill the first one…most definitely they will kill the 2nd one), when any of the minions try to attack me…everyone of them will get 2 damage. I know that the Doomsayers can also be used to buy you some time to regroup.

Or maybe leave the 2 Doomsayers and switch the Freeze Trap with a Fire Trap?

Anyone tried this? Or if someone who has played it more tried and found out some great improvements, please share them.

    Thank you.

So doomsayer is a key card because it can force the removal spells from an opponent and set up a clean call of the wild. If you are having an issue with aggro I would suggest switching out both doomsayers put in two fiery bats take out one deadly shot and put in an explosive trap or another unleash the hounds.

I actually have a deck list I use and I don’t have many problems with aggro my only bad Match up would be aggro pirate but that is all midrange hunters period unless you use acidic swamp ooze lol

What is the best Huge Toad replacement in all Midrange Hunter decks? Tell me please. I think its Knife juggler, flame juggler or someone else?

Freezing Trap? I guess I’d go with second Carrion Grub.

This deck is ridiculous. Everything synergies so ell together.

I’m not sure how I feel about Freeze/Doomsayer. As someone who plays a lot of Hunter, they always seem to be sitting in my hand. I found Hunter’s Mark/Fiery Bat better in testing, but who knows? I’m not the one who got Legend with it.

In mirror, the bat version seems to be way better. I think that Mr Yagut’s list is good for an aggro meta. It’s possible to win against zoo/pala cancer with doom. With the bat version, it’s very very difficult.

Is there any Doomsayer replacement? If there is, what rank do you think the deck would reach?

I’d go with a Flame Juggler and a second Carrion Grub. I think the deck is still decent without Doomsayer, you should still make it to legend.

Hey can anyone explain me why do they playa thundra rhino? I can’t see why is it good in this deck except its combo with highmare if it survives one turn

It actually sticks to the board quite often (which is crazy with Savannah Highmane and Call of the Wild), and later in the game you can pair it with your cheaper minions.

Doomsayers? What for? They are only good at the start of the match to stop aggro, but they are useless cards in the middle or late game.

      Unfortunately necessary vs. Zoolock.

Necessary against the new totem aggro shaman.. they play 1 drop – you play doomsayer with/without coin. Turn 2 pass – you play toad and fight for board.

I’ve just started playing this deck and have made the mistake of playing Doomsayer too late. I also experimented with playing a minion with Doomsayer – this in a way protected the minion… but by then I was too far behind.

Who was first? Thijs or Yagut?
Anyway, I haven’t tried this deck but seems to work pretty good. Maybe it’s just because of the surprise factor.

I still see Hunter as the weakest class, you want to pray as much as possible for a non-optimal response, and if your curve is not almost perfect, you will likely be so far behind.

Nice deck anyway, if it’s top 10 I’m sure this must be good.
