That’s the fun part about Carnival Clown – it already summons three 9-drops in its uncorrupted state, which is super strong with Revolve on its own.

It’s a great card to add to the list with early- to mid-run buckets, but I think it’s just not good enough in a 15-card deck!

Nope! I actually think that in this Aggro/Tempo version of a deck, Mad Scientist is kinda too slow for the first few rounds of Duels. And in two of my three rounds with Hunter, I took it in the second or third bucket once my deck was bigger and Tempo/damage didn’t matter that much anymore.

I’m trying to stay away from actual WoW class design as much as possible, because in the end we’re talking about Hearthstone here – but the problem of “being all over the place” mostly applies to multi-role classes like Paladin and Druid. Their core fantasy includes healing, damaging, and defensive spells/minions, so from Hearthstone’s release, they were able to play vastly different archetypes.

I absolutely adore the current art. I also love Rane’s style and his countless contributions to Hearthstone’s art pool – but I think that the final art outmatches Rane’s approach by a mile, especially looking at Jaina’s core features as a Frost Mage and the complete reversal of it. That’s just me, though!

Agreed! I do think though that Shaman will see more and more play as Priest rises up as the big bully in GM – we’ll see soon enough!
