Those were some of the first bundles, I think they sold them at too high of a price (since they didn’t come with Bartenders nor other cosmetics like the new finishers) so they didn’t sell too well.

I’ve watched for the first 30 minutes and there were three of them.

Later I’ve seen them asking “show us how much you like Bob, we’ll pick one winner and give them a code” or something like that. Maybe they switched from just posting codes to those “mini-giveaways”, I’m not sure.

$5 feels like the right price for me, since we’re talking about a Legendary most of the players have the Golden version of anyway. So it’s not like we’re getting a new Legendary card + COSMETIC, it’s just the cosmetic part.

Even if they would price it at $10 I would say that it’s too expensive… but $25? It does feel like a joke indeed.

Nah, you will be able to dust the Golden copy just fine. Only regular Faelin and Diamond Finley aren’t dustable since they’re from rewards track.

They’re just giving FULL dust refunds for disenchanting them within 24h from the expansion’s release for people who open them in packs during pre-release.

Core Set cards are all “rented” to the players for free. They are given out for the time they are in Core Set. So if you only play Standard you don’t have to worry, you will be able to play all of them until they rotate out again.

Interesting, I thought that it’s a month all around. 7 days will still get you 2 rewards guaranteed if you time it right, but I think you could snatch 3 with a whole month.

Assuming it works like any previous free Legendaries, then yeah, they will have duplicate protection. So if you own all of the Year of the Gryphon Legendaries, wait until Sunken City’s release and claim it then, you should be guaranteed to get a Legendary from the new expansion.

Sadly there’s a gap in card reveals between March 30 and April 5. Final reveal stream happens on April 5 and I don’t think they ever put a pre-patch live before all of the cards got revealed (but I might be wrong about that one). That’s why I’m guessing April 5, but we’ll see 🙂

Those should be live with Patch 23.0 (new expansion pre-patch), I think it’s going to drop on April 5, but I’m not 100% sure yet.

I’m sorry about that, but it wasn’t a lie. That’s how it’s supposed to work. That’s how it worked for me (I played it over two days – I quit after getting to Bob for the first time and then reconnected in the same place) and for many other players too from what I’ve seen. But the game can always bug out, act up or something, hence the word “should”.

That said, I’ll edit the guide and make it clear that it’s safer to do it on one go because the game can always do something unexpected.

White are 100% path inside the initial dungeon. Outside of the initial dungeon, only blue are 100% confirmed path. People didn’t draw the entire dungeon map and whites are the ones they didn’t try out because it wasn’t necessary.

So after you leave your initial dungeon, it’s safest to travel only on the blue ones, but a lot of the white ones are path too.

He should have 10 Coins because you should play your first dungeon (after your starting one) safe 100% of time and it doesn’t impact the progress.

Because of the 1 extra Coin from behind the tree you can play one Dungeon safe and it won’t impact the number of dungeons you need to go to. And it makes most sense to play the 1st one (not counting your starter) safe because then you have an “emergency” dynamite there if you screw something up in later ones.

It’s nothing official yet, but yeah, IF they go with 4 expansions, they would definitely need to adjust their pricing.

Ben Lee left Hearthstone for another project at Blizzard so Dean (previous Lead Designer) and Nathan Lyons-Smith (previous Executive Producer) took over for now. We don’t really know who will become the new director in the end, nothing was announced yet. We’ll see how things go, but it would make sense for Dean to become full time director.
