The Dalaran Heist Guide - Chapter Information, Pricing, Rewards, Heroes & Hero Powers, Anomaly Mode And More!
Don’t think so, it’s just for the sake of replayability.

I believe that you only need to unlock them, not finish them.

Not 100% sure, but it would make most sense.
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
The card has potential, I would not disenchant it. It has seen a bit of play already and it can be a part of some combos in the future.
Tavern Brawl - Henchmania
Thanks, I didn’t actually play the Brawl yet, so I missed it. Adding it to the post now!
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
Soularium might be considered a combo piece, but it’s really awkward, because you likely won’t get to play the cards (unless you draw something that costs 1), so you discard all 3. Drawing “only” 3 as opposed to shuffling your entire hand (usually 5+) also means that the chance of getting one of the minions you want is much lower.
Yes, the dream is to follow it up with Coin + Plot Twist, but you need to go second, keep your Coin for that long (which is pretty difficult) and have all 3 cards.
I also would not Dust any of the Rise of Shadows cards yet. Betrug has some potential. I honestly don’t think that it’s even going to be an amazing card, but anything can happen in Hearthstone.
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
I actually agree, but there’s a sort of circle you might not be thinking about.
She is now borderline playable, because the quality of Warlock cards is pretty low. But Control Warlock is not playable for exactly the same reason. If Warlock gets better support for Control archetype (especially more healing/removal – that’s important) and that becomes playable, wouldn’t that mean that Jeklik will no longer be good enough to include?
I’m not saying that it will 100% be a case, but for her to be playable (IMO), Warlock would need to get BOTH good Control cards and more Discard support, which is a tall order since we’re looking at only 2 more expansions of her in Standard.
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
List of the cards you can “safely” Disenchant was updated for Rise of Shadows. Comments below this one might be outdated.
And for God’s sake, please read the entire post carefully before leaving a comment. Any of your concerns are most likely already answered there. Replying to “uhhh, BUUUUT DISENCHANTING LEGENDARIES IS A BAD IDEA” for the 100th time is far from my favorite pastime.
Mecha'thun Warrior Deck List Guide β Rise of Shadows β May 2019
He combos very well with both Weapons Project and Shield Block. Especially the latter. If you play him alongside Shield Block, he’s a 4 mana 2/6 that gains you 5 Armor and draws a card – that’s massive. With Weapons Project he gives you +6 Armor and +1 weapon charge (since you can attack immediately and then get it refreshed back to 3 anyway). And the thing is, unlike in Control Warrior, when you play Mecha’thun version, you always want to draw cards – even in Control mirrors.
It’s hard to say whether it’s the best list at the moment, but the fact that it was piloted by Fibonacci to #1 Legend speaks for itself.
Whatβs New for Fireside Gatherings in 2019
True, they should be more specific about the release date, but I think that it’s a good thing that they put more attention to Fireside Gatherings. I know some people who play the game mostly for the social aspect and they love Gatherings – playing wonky decks with friends (or people they met) just to laugh about it right after is what they enjoy.
Can’t say that it’s the same for me, but since it’s not a huge effort and it can make a lot of players happier – why not π
Control Warrior Deck List Guide β Rise of Shadows β May 2019
Yes, it does disappear from the board when you bounce it to your hand (that’s kind of the point of bouncing). But Control mirrors are only a part of the ladder, relatively small compared to all the Tempo Rogues, Conjurer Mages etc. And Banker is only better with Elysiana (still not always, because you risk a random Hecklebot, even if it’s not very common), Bremwaster is better against all the decks where you don’t hit turn timer limit because you shuffled 20 extra cards into your deck. Banker is basically a 2/2 on the board with no extra effect, Brewmaster can be used to bounce your good Battlecry cards / wounded minions / etc. and replay them. Even when just played on T2, 3/2 minion is WAY better than 2/2, since it can contest all the 3 health minions.

Sorry, we just copied a template and forgot to change that one part. Fixed now, thanks π
Undatakah Mecha'thun Warrior - Rise of Shadows - Legend (Drag0nspirit)
That’s right. Plus if you happen to draw Mecha’thun, you can just throw Undatakah and every other card early and just combo it with Inner Rage after you’re out of cards. And lots of your minions (e.g. Militia Commander, Dyn-o-matic) are pretty good at 1 mana.
Tempo Rogue - Rise of Shadows - Early #1 Legend (ζι»)
Penguin is out of Standard anyway π
Best Hearthstone Decks - Standard Meta Tier List - Whizbang's Workshop (May 2024)
Priest isn’t in a great spot right now. Miracle version shows most promise, but it’s still not a great deck. Or rather, it IS great when it works, but it’s not an incredibly consistent one – you get a lot of terrible hands that you just can’t win with. It’s also pretty difficult, so in the lower ranks it’s a low Tier 3 deck at best. It got briefly popular in high Legend, but mostly because of the novelty – players still didn’t knew exactly what it can do and how to face it. Once they’ve started teching for it, it was no longer that good.
But it’s basically the story of Priest every rotation. The class has a pretty weak Classic set, which means that it relies heavily on the expansion cards. We just had a lot of the good expansion cards rotate out, and not enough were added in their place yet. I think that it should get better going into 2nd and 3rd expansion of this year. It happened in Year of the Mammoth (Highlander Priest), Year of the Raven (Resurrect Priest) and it will probably happen again once Priest gets more good tools. Of course, the perfect solution would be to fix their Classic set by buffing it a bit, but right now buffing is against Blizzard’s policy for some reason.
Hearthstone Wild Meta Decks Tier List - Scholomance Academy Update
Wild Meta Tier List was just updated for Rise of Shadows. Huge thanks to Roffle for doing it!

Hand Rogue - Rise of Shadows - #41 Legend (J_Alexander) - Updated
When I’m posting meta decks people complain that they’re boring, same decks that they face on ladder all the time. And then when I post off-meta decks and weird builds, they downvote them π
Hearthstone Legendary Crafting Guide (Standard) - United in Stormwind
Safe to Disenchant cards weren’t updated for the Rise of Shadows yet. And yeah, I didn’t expect Flark to actually start seeing play back then. But that’s what can happen after rotation.
Hearthstone Legendary Crafting Guide (Standard) - United in Stormwind
“Control Shaman seems to be one of the more popular and potent decks” – not really, though. When i was updating this no one was playing Control Shaman (and as much as I would love to, I can’t predict the future). Calling it potent is also a bit of an overstatement. It’s a Tier 3 deck right now according to stats. It’s played now mostly because of HCT World Championship, not because it’s an amazing deck. Keep in mind that tournament meta is different than ladder meta, mostly because you can just ban Warrior, which is something you can’t do on ladder.
I’ll probably do another round of updates soon(-ish) and if Control Shaman actually sees common meta play (it might happen, because Shaman got some really good cards this expansion, but so far they don’t seem to be just enough), then I’ll definitely add it.
