Worst Class in The Boomsday Project: Decks for Laddering With Priest in the Boomsday Meta
It would still be too powerful. 2 mana 4/4 every single turn is WAY too much pressure, especially considering that most of those would have some sort of effect (Loot Hoarder, Radiant, even stuff like Prophet Velen). It’s like Jaraxxus level of Hero Power, but unlike Jaraxxus, Hero cards don’t reduce your max health to 15 health AND give you Armor instead.

Arena Tier List was updated for Boomsday Project. Comments below this one were made about one of the previous versions of this article.
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
Oh, I remember that one! It was posted pretty early into the expansion so I didn’t think about it when compiling the list.
However, this was very early into the expansion. After seeing it initially on CompHS, I haven’t seen it anywhere else even once. But if you’re saying that it still works, then there might be something to it.
Still, I think that you understand why I’m still skeptical about the card. We’ve seen all sorts of “bad” cards finding home in off-meta decks that didn’t get any mainstream success. For example, I also put Emeriss on this list, despite (I think it was him) Deathstar hitting top 100 Legend with his Control Hunter list including Emeriss. But one person having success with an off-meta build doesn’t make the Legendary great out of nowhere.
The thing is, if a deck like that was REALLY good, it would probably hit the mainstream quite quickly. A power of the off-meta decks, and a reason why sometimes players get great results with off-meta builds that would never get mainstream success is surprise factor. Everyone is mulliganing and expecting Odd Paladin. Even if you turn out to be Even Paladin, they probably don’t expect a buff focus, let alone The Voraxx. But once people would get used to the deck, know what it runs and how to play around it, I don’t believe it would be that good anymore.
Of course, I always strongly recommend playing around with the Legendaries before dusting them – not only it’s more fun that way, but you might actually find out that you like one or have success with it and decide to keep it. So if anyone is wondering whether to dust Voraxx, I would recommend trying out that list. But until the card gets more play than by a couple of people in off-meta decks, I can’t remove it from the list. According to HSReplay.net, the card has roughly 0.02% representation on the ladder (that’s in 1 out of 5,000 matches) with around 43% win rate. It screams “disenchant me”. But I would love to be proven wrong, I always enjoy seeing niche Legendaries getting into meta decks.
Most Overrated Cards From The Boomsday Project
In Standard, totally overrated. I’ve addressed its strength in the Wild, but the list was about Standard.
Most Underrated Cards From The Boomsday Project
I don’t think it’s the problem with mechanic itself, but most of the Magnetic cards are just underwhelming. Zilliax, for example, sees quite a lot of play, because it’s okay by itself and amazing if you Magnetize it onto something. Glow-Tron is also good, because 1/3 for 1 is good anyway, and Magnetic is like a nice addition.
But cards like Bronze Gateekeper, Annoy-o-Module, Wargear or Replicating Menace are weak when dropped on the board and only “solid” when Magnetize. If “solid” is your best case scenario, and it’s often below average, then the card probably doesn’t belong in Constructed.
And when it comes to Adapt, I think that about half of the Adapt cards have seen Constructed play at some point. Razormaw, Ravasaur Runt, Pterrordax, Stegodon, Fledgling, Megasaur have all been played in viable Constructed deck at one point. Evolving Spores was also teched into Aggro Token Druid sometimes. If we count that, it’s 7/14 Adapt cards seeing play, which isn’t that bad, considering that some of them were clearly filler cards (Pterrordax Hatchling, Thunder Lizard).
P.S. Oh and yes, I agree that Supercollider was the sleeper card. Like I’ve mentioned in the article, I gave it 3/10, severely underrating it too.
#1 Legend Control Odd Warrior (Machamp)
It heavily depends on the matchup. Against some decks, like Malygos Druid or Tempo Mage, you NEVER want to play Dr. Boom, unless you really need that last burst of 7 Armor to survive.
But there are matchups in which you just need it for the value. In the mirror matchup, for example, or vs Control Warlock. It’s hard to win without it.
Hearthstone Epic Crafting Guide (Standard) - Scholomance Academy - September 2020
I agree, and it’s not just Epics. K&C’s power level in general was INSANE. It seems like Blizzard has this weird thing with last sets of the year – first Gadgetzan and now K&C. They both had very high power levels. On the one hand, I get it, they will be in Standard for the shortest period of time, so Blizzard wants them to have a big higher impact. But they want way overboard with that.
I hope that they have learned from that mistake and the upcoming, 3rd set of Year of the Raven won’t be THAT powerful.
Hearthstone Legendary Crafting Guide (Standard) - United in Stormwind
It’s a very interesting case, because it’s one of the worst and best crafts at the same time. It’s amazing if you’re on budget / a new player that wants to experience a variety of decks, but it’s obviously bad from competitive point of view.
Still decided to put him up there in the best crafts, just with a disclaimer that he’s not suited for competitive play (but I’d say that anyone playing competitively knows that already) 🙂

“U have a damaged nortshire than that u can’t lose by treachery because of a full board”
But you can! Treachery kills it when your opponent has a full board, so you won’t take any fatigue damage.
It’s probably not the most optimal solution, but it worked for me.

Quest Rogue Deck List Guide - Boomsday Post-Nerf - November 2018
The deck guide wasn’t updated yet – it was written before the Quest Rogue’s nerf in Witchwood. it was just updated to reflect all the changes (nerf, new Boomsday cards), so you should no longer be confused!
On the ladder, Priest is definitely the worst class. The thing is, tournament meta is a bit different. Most importantly, line-ups are made with ban in mind (e.g. you can ban Druid and play line-up that’s bad against Druid, you can’t do the same thing on the ladder), and in the conquest format, you pick certain decks as the counters. Control Priest was much more popular in tournaments than it was on the ladder for a long time.
