As someone who frequents decks like this, I will say that yeah aggro/tempo are weaker matchups, but no deck is without weak matchups. This deck is no less capable than almost any other to hit legend. It’s way more about the person piloting and their skill verses the deck itself.
I’m not disagreeing that high legend is not representative of ranks outside of 5. But, it is capable in the right hands.

This is the list I am most watching to see if it has a place in the meta at all. I think this deck has good synergy and Thijis while a streamer is a very skilled player. If you are thinking of like me spending dust on this, this is the list!

This video is a YouTuber playing a similar list with the same idea! I genuinely think this deck can work, plus all the legendaries maybe minus lynessa work well together. Even when uther rotates, this deck in wild with some changes has potential, especially thekal + Reno Jackson!

Love your articles Old Gaurdian! Here are my thoughts:

Odd dragon warrior could work, but giving up the late game mech package and boom might be too high a price to sacrifice. I’m more concerned if it can go the distance, especially v other control decks. Aggro is more doable here.

Face dragon warrior is interesting and with the spirit of the rhino and the rush package, that may just work well enough to push into the meta. I’m hopeful this might be something.

Finally,
With a non odd control, I think that might be the sweet spot because you have an early board presence and board clear, and you can utilize as much dragon synergy as possible here. I believe if you gonna go dragon, go all in to get the most out of it. I do think you hit on something awesome with Voone and twilight drake!! Seems really good!

Overall,
I think the potential is there. Just a matter of fine tuning. I personally will be going more control heavy and make non odd work. but so excited for this archetype!

Dragon memes for dayz, will craft for memes and wild big dragon warrior. Biased but his lore is in blackrock so this makes sense!

With this being the first card revealed for warrior, I am excited at the direction warrior is going for this set! This is a slightly worse free from amber, more conditional which is the worse part. But, in control matchups and if the meta slows, seems like a decent card.

This is the top deck I am eye for the new expansion, looks awesome!
