Maybe schemes should have been made the other way round … start very strong but downgrade each turn. Of course they all had to cost a decent amount of mana, no cheap schemes possible …

I think that the concept of schemes is fundamentaly flawed (regarding competitive play) due to the ‘topdeck problematic’.

Just look at Hagatha’s Scheme … I can’t imagine any competitive control deck that can afford to run an aoe card that might not clear the board AND is a terrible topdeck.

Pretty sure this is already answered somewhere else but … is the added lackey randomly chosen between the available ones? Do I get to choose? Or do I get the ‘warrior’ lackey?

Renopriest with DK and Spawn of Shadows worked well. Kinda good if all your spells cost 0.

I’m not quiet sure I understand the purpose of Myra’s Unstable Element in this deck … is it just meant to be a 3rd Auctioneer?

Because if you play this, the Auctioneers are kind of obsolete at that point. And if you have an Auctioneer active, you don’t want to play the Element!?

You’re right about MTG Arena, though. But they need to release that on mobile devices, otherwise they’ll never really able to compete with HS.

You’ll get full dust for the most ‘expensive’ version (3.200 in this case) but you can disenchant one (or even both) to get more dust – but for normal disenchanting dust.

I hope that the percentage of cards with certain keywords seeing competitive constructed play never is the deciding factor of wether or not those keywords will be further explored. Because … well … the nature of card games dictates that this number will always be a small one. Which means that nearly no keyword (except for the absolutely broken ones) would be further explored …

Besides that, Blizzard did a great job with Journey to Un’goro. It’s a great set.

At least they are not auto-playing on my computer but yeah, those windows are a true annoyance.
