A card’s viability, at least in the upcoming expansion, is very often determined by how well it fits into existing archetypes (unless it’s an expansion that also sees other sets rotating out, take un’goro or the witchwood for example). So yes, this card’s playability will probably fall on how good even shaman (or who knows, maybe elemental aggro shaman) will be next expansion.

Zap + this in an already elemental-heavy even shaman? Easy and simple fit, no question.

It seems like everyone thinks this is supposed to be a tempo card. Let’s get one thing straight: IT IS NOT A TEMPO CARD. Every class has simple removal options to realistically and easily clear a board of 1/1’s. This card is rather meant to be played in an OTK deck which runs Velen, Malygos, radiant elementals, and maybe Alexstrasza, along with some mind blasts and holy smites. Also, note that you CAN shadow visions this card to make the combo more reliable. Obviously drawing your minion combo pieces sucks, but if a card like “1 mana: shuffle a friendly minion into your deck, draw a card” is printed, then maybe this combo deck isn’t too farfetched.

I run a similar exodia paladin deck, but it has more survivability. It runs wickerflame burnbristle and 2 corpsetakers at the expense of a hydrologist, thalnos, and a blessing of wisdom.

Yeah I’ve learned and gotten to rank 3 with homemade decks. Granted, this may not be my deck style but it did not work for me, for one reason or another. I believe my rank 3 experience is enough to say I know how to play hearthstone.

I have a similar list, but run 2 blood knights. It actually works extremely well.

Isn’t cenarius a really good inclusion in this deck due to a relatively slow meta, and it’s synergy with both taunt and board buff?

I actually use a similar version of this deck at rank 4! Same general concept, but I run 2 crystalline oracles instead of 2 fire flys, 2 tol’vir stoneshapers instead of 2 dragonfires, and 2 lightspawn contrary to 2 curious g’s. Finally, I like to include cheaper spells instead of shadow words: 2x potion of madness, 2x divine spirit, and one inner fire. This makes for a higher WR basically all around. Good luck on ladder either way, though!!!
