I actually use a similar version of this deck at rank 4! Same general concept, but I run 2 crystalline oracles instead of 2 fire flys, 2 tol'vir stoneshapers instead of 2 dragonfires, and 2 lightspawn contrary to 2 curious g's. Finally, I like to include cheaper spells instead of shadow words: 2x potion of madness, 2x divine spirit, and one inner fire. This makes for a higher WR basically all around. Good luck on ladder either way, though!!!
