I really want to try this card. It seems very interesting.

After seeing this and the new Bolvar, can we assume that Divine Shield Pally will become a new archetype? Honestly, I would hope so.

Can someone confirm if the effect of this card procs while it is in the deck, in the hand or on the board?

I don’t know how good this card could be but the idea of “Choose (secretly)” is great!! Love this card.

I don’t think this card is so OP as everybody’s saying. To proc it’s effect you need at least 6 mana and 1 secret and, needless to say, on 6 mana the Hunter has Savannah Highmane.
Also, I really don’t understand why a lot of people compare this one to the infamous Mysterious Challenger. That card wasn’t a legendary and on turn 6 could have played 5 secrets alone, that was sick. This card, on the other hand, to be considered similar to the Mysterious Challanger needs 7 mana, Cloaked Huntress and a couple of secrets in your hand. That’s why I think the power level isn’t comparable.
Good card, I like it.

I’m one of the few player that actually appreciate the discard mechanic and I have to say that I like this card. Anyway, as Dean already said, I think this should not be a legendary.
But… I know it is too early, but…
If the Warlock Death Knight Hero Power interacts with the discard mechanic somehow like “summon a minion you have discarded” or “put a card you have discarded in your hand” I’d be really positive about the “Discardlock” archetype.

I’m still playing this deck XD

On rank 5 I made a couple of changes:

-2 haunted creeper -> I think this minion does not fit in this deck.

-2 steward of darkshire -> I’m a bit uncertain about this one. Giving divine shield to 5 recruits is great, but too many times I feel this card is a dead one in my hand.

+2 hydrologist -> discover a secret is really useful, helped me to win a few games.

+1 justicar trueheart -> great with all this recruit buffs. And giving her spikeridged steed is awesome!!

+1 dr. boom -> I still think this is the best 7 mana minion.

Any thoughts on these changes?

This list is great!! It is very strong and really fun to play.
I don’t care about ranking and win-rates and I never play more then a few matches with the same deck but yesterday I went in a win streak from rank 13 to rank 7 and I enjoyed all the games!!

I always loved the token/aggro druid (old good times of FoN+SR) but I would never play this deck without 2 Vicious Fledgling. The card is super fun and if you manage to innervate it on the first turn you will most likely see some crazy things.
The point is: I removed 2 Eggnapper for the 2 Vicious Fledgling. Do you guys think is a good choice or you would have replaced something else?

I still am not so positive on the Rogue Quest, it seems to be too difficult and less rewarding compared to other Quests but, well, we’ll see.
And the Mage Quest COULD become way too broken. I’ve already seen some great ideas involving giants, Alexstraza, Antonidas, new exodia and so on. I mean, if the Quest isn’t too difficult, I think we’ll see a lot of OTK with extra turn.

I have great expectations for this expansion: rotation of a ton of cards, new mechanics and an overall refresh of the game (that is needed).

Anyway, I can’t wait to try all of these Quest cards!! And thanks Evident for this superb article.

This deck isn’t an aggro water rogue; this is a menagerie rogue. And this is a superb deck!! One of the fewest solid and viable but at the same time original and funny deck I’ve seen since Karazhan. Thanks to SamuelTsao we all seen what a great player could do with his knowledge of the game. Everyone who loves Hearthstone should have some games with this kind of deck. Great!!

I think it’s too early to start complaining but the feeling is that you’re right. In a more control/slow meta the jades are going to be (potentially) unstoppable.

Sad but true… Anyway, great card.

We still have to see the other Paladin cards but, at the moment, this Quest seems really difficult to accomplish
