Blessing of Authority
Paladin usually has a minion on board and if not, they can summon one with their Hero Power. There are tons of good targets for this, so as long as Silence is not prominent in the Meta, this should be played.
However, I won’t rate it 5 Stars because Paladin is already good at building big minions and currenty lacks strong early game control, so this might be cut if the Meta demands it. Therefor, 4 Stars.
Cutting Class
Reminds me of Aeroponics… For Rogue, this is probably not very attactive. They have enough card draw on more efficent cards. For Warrior on the other hand, it is at least Arcane Intellect on a class with meh draw potential, so I wouldnt be suprised to see it in faster and midrange archetypes.
Divine Rager
Just realized Ragers dont have to be 3 Mana. Ok, there is no reason there is no Mummy Rager!
Divine Rager
Mummy Rager would be the name. And yes, there should’ve been. But it was probably too powerful. ^^
Enchanted Cauldron
This is strong with really high cost spells. But it costs 3 Mana, so it cant be played with high cost spells. Also, it might not work in your favor. While I think it is usually a good result, most decks wont have space for this. 2 Stars, but I like the design and I wish it is better than my rating!
Gibberling
My first thought was: Ok, this is terrible.
But on second thought: This might be pretty strong! It can be combo’d with cheap Druid spells and you can easily have a whole army of 3/3 Gibberlings who summon a 2/2 Treant when they die.
8 Mana:
Gibberling + Ironbark + Ironbark + Innervate + Crystal Power + Bogbeam + Power of the Wild (x2) + Soul of the Forset = 5 3/3s with Deathrattle: Summon a 3/3 Treant. and 2 4/6 Taunts with the same Deathrattle.
OR
Gibberling + Kael’Thas + Ironbark + Ironbark + Survival of the Fittest. = 8/11 Kael’thas, 2 6/8 Taunt, 1 5/5
Long Story Short: In a Spell Flood Deck, this is the Ultimate Board Filler. Dont let your memes be dreams! 4 Stars!
Initiation
It might be expensive, but I can see it finishing of a whole bunch of big minions after Penance/Holy Nova/Shadow Madness/Breath.
In an Aggressive Meta, this is worthless. But if it becomes more midrangy, this will fit in Highlander Priest and maybe even Galakrond Priest. Also great discovery from Renew! 3 Stars.
Partner Assignment
This solves a LOT of Druid’s early game problems. Having something to throw at your opponent instead of hero powering is insane. And since it is a low-cost spell, it also works well in Druid’s lategame. And it can be played on 4 or 6 to fill up your Turn if you have nothing else.
Incredibly flexible, probably part of every Druid deck since it adjusts their biggest weakness. 5 Stars!
Plagiarize
Little Murozond 😀
Joins the pool of very strong Rogue Secrets and should see play in all decks that utilize the Secret Package. Also, it is very hard to play around it, so I actually rate this above Dirty Tricks (even though they will be played alongside each other) and therefor 5 Stars.
Self-Sharpening Sword
Warrior has Wrenchcalibur to stay forever and shuffle bombs.
Shaman has Rune Dagger to stay forever and buff spells.
Rogue has this to stay forever and get stronger all the time.
While the Sword itself might be a little bit slow, with the help of Vulpera Toxinblade, Deadly Poison, Doctor Krastinov and Cpt. Greenskin this can be a massive threat. Holds back hero power and Rogue doesnt really need “forever” since they generate and draw tons of cards, but I think one copy of this will see play in a variety of decks over this card’s lifespan, so 4 Stars.
Shifty Sophomore
Rogue has no trouble to play a cheap spell on 5 and combine it with whatever Shifty gives you. This + Secret into Edwin/Defias/Perdition’s Blade for example.
I think Stealth Rogue…or actually any fast Rogue…will play this. 4 Stars for decent Value on a decent statline.
Primordial Studies
I wish it could discover the Rune Dagger from Shaman! Then, it would be insanely strong!
Unfortunatly, it cannott do this, so it stays at 2 Stars for now. But as soon as the overall pool of Spell Damage gets stronger and to a point where you are likely to get a decent card, this should be 3 Stars.
Ancient Void Hound
Never really thought about it working… I didnt really care for DH so far since I really hate Tempo Demon Hunter. But the more I think about it…AoE? Check. Taunt? Check Heal? Check.
If Demon Hunter manages to heal faster than they take damage (and they take a lot of damage due to their hero power and weapons!), it could work. Would be super cool to see cards like this or Wrathspike Brute in the Meta!
Tidal Wave
Expensive, but with the help of Rune Dagger this should be pretty useful. Clear board and heal at the same time is very powerful and if you get to 8 against an aggressive deck this can win you the game. If control shaman is a thing, which wouldnt suprise me much, this is one of the defining cards. 4 Stars.
Molten Blast
Living Roots combined! Also works well with Spell Damage in Shaman to swing the board. Rune Dagger on 2, this on 3. It greatly reduces the pressure Aggro Decks can create and I guess it will therefor be played in a variety of Shaman Decks. 4 Stars.
Rune Dagger
I think this is the one card that can actually make Spell Damage useful! Because unlike all the minions and stuff, you can store this and have it on demand without extra cost. Lab Partner costs one and is dead next turn, this is 0 Mana (on the turn the spell is played) and can give the Spell Damage 3 times. The only way your opponent can stop it is Ooze (and other Weapon removal which is never played), and the prominence of this greatly defines the value of this card, the Spell Damage package and perhaps even Archetypes like Control Shaman!
While Spell Damage in Mage is a failure in my prediction, Shaman might actually make use out of it! And this card is the key to success! 5 Stars!
And now I’ll go and re-review Ras Frostwhisper, who I gave only 2 Stars back then 😀
Vulpera Toxinblade
Rogue’s Version of Arcane Amplifier! If Rogue runs a Weapon archetype or package, this should be part of it. Might even work in Secret and Stealth Rogue since you can prepare for this very well. Something you cant do with Mage and Amplifier for example. 4 Stars!
Fishy Flyer
Pretty expensive for a Murloc, but a good drop from Underlight Angler and Fishflinger. In a dedicated Murloc deck this might be something you run 1 copy of. 3 Stars.
In Formation!
Very strong for Taunt Warrior! Much better than Infested Goblin for example! In a world of Silverback Patriarchs and Booty Bay Bodyguards I can’t imagine this in Control Warrior or similar archetypes, but for the Taunt Warrior it should feel good most of the time. And this deck is not completly unplayable, so 3 Stars.
Rush in Warrior has always been very strong. This is one of these cards that just feels good to play in any midrange or control deck!
