A 4/4 with stealth isn’t that bad on its own, especially with some of the Ashes synergies it grants. Random combo cards can be pretty bad, there’s a lot of them out there, but right now the chances of getting a good one strongly outweigh the kidnappers and headcracks. Especially with the new spells, Brain Freeze, Coerce, and Wand Thief.
One of the worst cards of this set; being a class card, even more so.
A Solid Card that gives you a Combo Card. Cool.
It’ll be funny to see Kidnapper after all of these years.
Plus you can randomly get Edawian Vancleef, too.
I think this is fine, but Rouges will get picky with Shift for the Experimental Phase. 4 Stars.
Rogue has no trouble to play a cheap spell on 5 and combine it with whatever Shifty gives you. This + Secret into Edwin/Defias/Perdition’s Blade for example.
I think Stealth Rogue…or actually any fast Rogue…will play this. 4 Stars for decent Value on a decent statline.
Not sure why it’s rated this low, looks decent to me. I really hope tempo rogue without Galakrond returns 🙂
There’s a lot of bad Combo cards going around right now. You could get a Necrium Apothecary with a deck with zero deathrattles, or a Headcrack, or a Kidnapper.
This card might as well be a 4/4 with stealth, because the spellburst effect is quite irrelevant. And a 4/4 stealth is pretty bad – it has no immediate impact on the board and just sits around for a turn.
True, but there are some really good combo cards as well! Evis, Edwin and SI:7. I think it might be a bit too slow but I’m still hopeful 🙂
GET SCHWIFTY
Since it has stealth I doubt rogue will pass this up 4 cost 4/4 is decent enough stats but with spellburst giving a combo you could trigger that on the next turn without much worry.
