Mulligan Guide

General

Your General Mulligan is for Draw and a curve. Crushclaw is exceptionally good on the coin or with wildfire as it is active turn 2/3 and gets a decent body down. The key with the early game is using your minion heavy draw base to establish tempo, while drawing answers for what is to come.

Vs. Aggro

I dont usually keep Solid Alibi, despite it being a key card in this matchup as you want to pop it when they have a board to basically mean you don't need to worry about the board for a turn. The rest of the Mulligan should be getting defence focused cards.

If your hand is truly awful I would keep a single copy of Ice Block or Youthful Brewmaster to just keep some ability to contest the board early.

Deck Description

Control Mage got a lot of great tools this expansion, and the power of Mordrich and the Hero's ping, Mage effectively has a built in win condition if you can survive. While Sire makes that harder, he doesn't work against Ice Block 2.0 and as long as you start pushing once you're in control you can usually manage to push through before they can play him.
