I want to smoke what people who don’t rate this 5 stars are smoking. The deck is going to be so sick it’s going to get nerfed eventually, and you can quote me on that.

I think you’re overstating its power level. Don’t get me wrong, it IS good. It’s almost a full board clear, complete with obscene face damage, and a 10/10 body. BUT! It might not be enough to singlehandedly make a deck great. We have seen other great cards like this one in the past, but we’ve only seen a fraction of what this expansion is going to offer for now. Way I see it, a card like Tickatus is still a lot better than this.

Just putting it out there that when Jan’alai was spoiled people thought it was trashed. Old habits die hard I guess.

Jan’alai did prove disappointing. The card was never bad, but the deck didn’t take off. A similar scenario could happen with this. It’s a lot better, though, so I see it having better chances to make the cut. But it’s by no means guaranteed to be a great deck

It isn’t, it sucks it’s too slow and sees 0 competitive play.

basically just better janalai, but without hero power damage support this is probably only good off of discovers

This looks veeery slow until you consider reckless apprentice. If there’s a little more hero power synergy, this could be a solid top-end for a midrange or control deck, and additionally it could fit nicely in Wild even mage.

Actually just remembered about the core set… yeah this should be good enough already as long as mage can consistently reach T10.

Probably not good since Jan’alai didn’t see a lot of play but boy it is fun

I’m going to combine Both Mordresh Fire Eye and Reckless Apprentice as a Guaranteed Combo Core Deck in my opinion, and just say that This feels familiar to Jan’Alai, from Rastakan’s Rumble. However, instead of an 8/8, you are Pyroblasting ALL Enemies. It’s not so much that Mages can’t really pull this off, becuase they still just Modresh alone and think that it’s automatically a bad card, but with a combo card like Reckless, your Progress to getting your Ultimate Control Card from Modresh just SKyrocket.

I think Exodia Mage has Returned since Mages have experimented enough with C’thun as well, that they will probably use both C’THun and Modresh Fire Eye.

5 Stars I think this will be used and Abused for OTK Mage Decks that just want to trigger the Battlecry as quickly as possible, or Control Decks. And Depending on how truly stupid Modresh Fire eye can be, don’t be surprised if Mages start using Miracle Decks. or try to go for a lot of Card draw in general.

My God. They’ve done it again. Not enough Pyroblast? How bout Pyroblast to all enemies? STONK.
