Introduction

Anyfin Paladin is a deck which emerged with, and is driven by the LoE card Anyfin Can Happen. The Midrange/Control variants of Anyfin Paladin Utilizes Equality (+Pyromancer),Solemn Vigil To quickly draw the cards they need, kill off the murlocs, and Anyfin to make a OTK combo.

However, The playstyle of the Aggro variant, which started to see play in KFT, is just like the normal Aggro Paladin until the beatdown plan fails. the deck’s plan B is the same as above; kill & revive the murlocs to kill the opponent.

Our List drops Equalitys & Haunted Creepers and includes two Loot Hoarders for faster draw. this could be adjusted when board-centric aggro decks see more play. The current list is based off of ‘해적왕김로쉬’ ‘s deck that got him to #3 Legend. (source) If you want another variant of Anyfin Paladin,

Aggro Anyfin Paladin Mulligan Guide and Strategy

Almost always keep Corridor Keeper, especially with Muster For Battle or Southsea Deckhand. We are looking for a fast start so keep Southsea Deckhand and Righteous Protector. Also keep Knife Juggler , and Shielded Minibot. If you have a ok early curve, keep Muster for Battle, Rallying Blade and Call to Arms. Against Mage, Warlock, and Priest, you can keep Divine Favor For they are mostly control decks. Finja, the Flying Star is also keepable, because of the pretty insane board swing it can provide (Just imagine pulling out a 3/3+5/4 with charge. that buffs your bluegills, or two 5/3 minions. I miss the days when Warleader gave the murlocs +2/+1.)

Play Strategy

This deck has two plans; The Beatdown Plan, and The Anyfin OTK Plan. Your primary win condition is NOT the anyfin plan, it’s the beatdown plan, so you should go super aggressive because the aggro paladin is one of those very aggressive decks. play minions every possible turn, flood the board and push face damage. getting a charge out of Southsea Deckhand is great, but getting Patches the Pirate out early & getting a free 1/1 with charge is also great. if you have an alternate 1-drop, and has Knife Juggler in your hand, it’s better to combo it with juggler for the extra damage. Corridor Creeper rewards us for extending into the opponent’s AoE, so if you have creeper in your hand, go ahead and freely flood the board. if your hand is clogged up and if you need to Divine Favor in the next few turns BUT you know your opponent’s gonna use their AoE sooner or later, with the exception of turn 7+ against priest (Psychic Scream), drop the murlocs. you’re going to need them dead later on anyway.

If RNGesus was on your side, the opponent should be dead. unfortunately, there are control decks who can outlast our push for damage; warlock, for instance, and most Reno decks. with the case of warlock, you REALLY have to beat them down before he clears the board & starts to come back, the Voidlords are simply unpenetratable. if you see a lot of control warlock decks, it’s better to tech in a spellbreaker, which completely disrupts their early game plan against aggro. with others, like reno priest, you can kill them with anyfin. just try to kill all of your murlocs (but, of course, Finja isn’t necessary) and use anyfin, kill off all your murlocs again, and anyfin again to do the OTK combo. because you have this plan, you could act like a control deck while fighting other aggressive decks; just last untill you have the combo.

Card Substitutions

  • The Murloc Package – Sorry, but except for Finja, the cards are unreplacable.
  • Corridor Creeper – A card that is being thrown into every aggressive/midrange deck right now. Synergies well with Patches and Muster For Battle.
  • Sunkeeper Tarim – I bet he will be used in just about any paladin deck untill hearthstone shuts down. he’s a safe craft.
  • Call to Arms – One of the more hyped cards coming into the release of Kobolds and Catacombs. It has been living up to it currently, so this could be a safe early craft as long as Paladin continues to have a mid-tier deck.

Combos and Synergies

Obviously, the murlocs synergize with each other really well. Finja, The Flying Star provides a nice mid-game board swing, and Bluegill+Murloc warleader on turn 5 is nice too. then there’s the downright obvious synergies like token-generating cards + creeper, Divine shield minions + Rallying Blade, et cetra.

Remember to constantly dump your hand while facing control if you have a Divine Favor in your hand. the more cards you draw the better.
