any replacements for thunderbluffs?
What do you think about switching one thunder bluff valiant for a bloodlust…?
That might not be too bad.
Or what about switsching the azure drakes for one bloodlust and another mana tide? Hmm all comes down tech choices i guess.. but bloodlust + al’akir seems like a too good combo to pass up on :p
I personally like Azure Drake more than Bloodlust and Mana Tide. Al’akir doesn’t really need Bloodlust when it has Rockbiter Weapons.
would sylvanas or cairne be ok for 1 fireelemental?

Is this deck so good that al’akir is worth crafting? I try to reach like best druid or shaman deck on ladder but with druid it didnt quite work to legend only around 4 rank and with shaman most decks are simple and aggro so I thought I try to find here, so is al’akir worth crafting that can make difference between going to legend or stay around rank 5 or not? I can put doomhammer as replacement :p
I wouldn’t craft Al’akir for it, he’s a nice card but it’s still pretty rare in Midrange Shaman.
Al’akir has been a game winner in many games for me. Not just as a finisher but defensively to take out two enemy minions. I just hit legend for the first time today. This deck took me from 1 star in rank 2 to legend with only one loss. Hope this helps. π

Alakir benefits from flametongue totem and is guaranteed to hit target you want.
Al’Akir can be comboed with rockbiter or flametongue, and is more reliable as a finisher, since he can go face 100% of the time, even if the opponent has minions.
