You can control quite well the first turns with the elementals and spells. Keep the board clean in late game with meteor and flamestrike and close with a pyroblast in da face .
I never won against a quest rogue but you can face anyone else. Very funny to play.
Ice block, Alex and doomsayer would give you more game against quest rouge. You can skip two of their turns and use the extra time to burn them out like freeze mage.
Ice block is already in, what would you swap for alex and doom?
Those are some key mage cards. You could try Mana Wyrn and primordial drake.
