This deck is perfect to counter most of the current meta decks. It has brilliant win rates against Aggro Paladin and Pirate Warrior due to it’s anti cards Golakka Crawler and Hungry Crab. This deck is able to win the game within the first 4-5 turns and can stabilizize against every control and midrange deck from turn 6-8.

Must have combos for the opening hand:

  • Innervate + Vicious Fledging
  • Fire Fly + Dire Wolf Alpha
  • Enchanted Raven + Mark of Y’Shaarj

Your main strat should be to get board control as soon as possible. Try to make early trades against other aggro decks and buff your minions with Mark of the Lotus or Power of the Wild to keep them alive.

Also you should think about to use an early Savage Roar to clear the board. Dont keep your cards for a later finisher. If your minions die and the enemy gets board control within the first few turns most of your Spells will be pretty useless.

If you don’t play against Pirates you should think about to tribute your Bloodsail Corsair or Patches the Pirate for a 3/4 Golakka Crawler on turn 2. The perfect play continues with a Mark of Y’Shaarj which grants you a 5/6 minion on turn 3 plus a random 1 drop.

At turn 4 you can choose between playing all your low cost minions and a buff or to clear off the way for the strong Bittertide Hydra or a Living Mana.

At turn 5 you should start to play a Hydra. If you got both Hydra and Living Mana you normally should go with Hydra first so your opponent trades his minions or plays his removals. That grants you a saver play with Living Mana and it’s more likely that your six 2/2 Tokens will stay alive.

Swipe can be used as a cheap clear off for a full board with Hunters’ 1/1 minions or Paladins’ Silver Hand recruits and even it’s a finisher and can kill face if the opponent tries to defend hisself with a taunt minnion at midrange.

Why no Finja? Because Finja has to kill a Minion and with 5 mana to pay she is quite expensive. Also you won’t get much value from a Murloc on your hand – mostly it will be just a dead card. Also the Aggro Druid wants to have as much beasts in the deck as possible.

This deck is more flexible than a Pirate Warrior what makes it attraktive as a very strong deck to ladder.
