These are the cards you want in your opening hand, some depending  on matchup, Secret passage is ...passable.

Everything else you actively don't want in your opening hand at any cost.. So. Yeah.

You generally want 1 secret to keep in hand (skipping turn 2 from playing it) in order to use the synergies later. Same goes for blackjack, it's too strong to not want in your hand. You can gamble on double cross=>draw a second secret. It's often worth it, depends on matchup.

Glacial is a must vs things you need to freeze, crabatoa is so strong that it can swing aggro matchups ect. Pozzik is the same. Private eye/Serrated is the strongest early hand you can have.

Sometimes Astalor can be kept, if you think you are playing like an extreme control matchup where you absolutely need to draw it to win. The odds of drawing it with all the draw/passages when you need it is Very high, but yeah, sometimes you don't wanna risk a 15-25%.

Tier 0 Control Rogue, a name given to the deck by a fun fella on the main discord server, generated from the facts it regularly beats every tier 1 deck and that control rogue doesn’t exist as an archetype. It shouldn’t work, it does work anyway, and is one of my easier legends.

Bit of a repost once I hit legend.

Deck is VERY fun. Very hard. (duh it’s a rogue deck), and very therapeutic as it does in fact beat most of the cancerous matchups in the game.

Deck aims to control/out tempo with secret synergy and disrupt minions. It has 2 moments to swing back from behind (6 Crabatoa) and (8 Scabbs). It can out control control decks to bottom deck. (astalor spam), it can disrupt OTKs, it can out aggro progue, and it can delay things like QuestLine Druid until victory. (glacial). On the other hand, it has a semi otk possibility that is very easily tutorable at the time of need (cold blood, battleground battlemaster) that is comboable with Scabbs and loatheb/breakdance. You hover around these options as you control the shit out of your enemy, often making the games extremely one sided, often very interactive.

Decks it beats with 100% winrate.

Big priest. Demonlock. Other rogues. Blood DK. Most druids, otk, mill or any variant of ramp/big.

Decks it beats with around 85% winrate.

Mech Paladin. Dude Paladin. Even Shaman. Shudderwock shaman. Basically every hunter, except maybe the most notorious ones like porcupine. So far it has beaten every tony druid, but I don’t think that should happen so I’m putting it here.

Decks it beats around 65% winrate.

QL druid. Secret Mage. (new non-meta variants can be tricky).

Decks it beats maybe 55% winrate?

Pirate rogue. Curse/impLocks,

Decks that it barely loses to but can beat.

Kingsbane. (good roll into Hero stealth and you can’t freeze, you lose.)
