Mulligans
General Mulligans
At the start of the game you want Arcane Watcher and at least one Spell Damage minion. That way you can play Arcane Watcher turn 3 and let it sit for a turn before playing another minion and suddenly having 5 damage on field. Early on there isn't much that can answer Arcane Watcher or Mana Reservoir and you can usually get 10 face damage that way.
Aggro Mulligans
Spellzerker has solid stats for a 2 drop and plays very well against small minions, its damaged effect can activate Arcane Watcher and force an aggro player to trade into it.General:
This is a pretty standard spell damage rogue deck. The whole idea is to get out your spell damage cards and then get value off of them through rogue’s low cost damage spells like Sinister Strike and Shiv. From there you can draw cards using Spellbook Binder and get high damage in with Arcane Watcher. I would recommend you keep at least 1 spell damage minion in hand so you can get in some sneaky damage with Arcane Watcher, every little bit helps. From playing this way and throwing a few spells into the enemy face you should get them down pretty low to the point where you can finish them off with Leeroy Jenkins or use Myra's Unstable Element to pull those last few damage spells you need.
Notes:
- Try to save your Prepation and copy of The Coin for when you have Mana Addict or Gadgetzan Auctioneer on the field. Card draw and face damage are your keys to victory.
- Headcrack works extremely well in this deck and is a great mana filler, especially when the game is closing out and you’re low on cards. Try to keep it in your hand for that phase of the game.
- If you’re on a budget you can replace Leeroy Jenkins with Reckless Rocketeer and Myra's Unstable Element for another Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
