This deck can be considered a Midrange Deck.
The deck is Build up around 2 cards in particular, “Shadow Visions” and “purify”.
Both of these cards have the initial downside that they cost more Mana than regular card draw, and do nothing the turn they are played. They also have very unique playstyles that can allow for some otherwise lesser minions to perform quite well.
for instance: “Humongous Razorleaf” usually is unable to attack, with Purify it can now attack normally and basically becomes a 5 Mana 4-8 that thins out your deck. we get similar effects using Purify on “Ancient Watcher” and “Fel Orc Soulfiend”
“Purify” also works amazing with “Barnes” in this deck that is already focused on silencing your minions since “Barnes” put out a 1-1 version of a minion in your deck.
“Barnes” also work great with “Y’Shaarj, Rage Unbound” for pulling out minions from your deck to later be silence or just silencing “Y’Shaarj” so it becomes a 10-10.
“Shadow Visions” have 4 primary uses in this deck.
Getting Purify, and thinning your deck
Getting Death, to control large enemy minions that this deck under normal circumstances would have a hard time with.
Being used either with “Radiant Elemental” and/or “Gadgetzan Auctioneer” for efficient and/or high amounts of card draw.
Getting “Circle of Healing” for either “Injured Blademaster, Fel Orc Soulfiend” or generally healing your high health minions.
I’ve decided to put in “Hemet, Jungle Hunter” into the deck for 2 reasons.
Getting rid of minions that would be useless in a topdeck scenario
Thinning your deck so it would be easier to get “Elise the Trailblazer” for your more late game encounters where you need bigger and more powerful minions.
