Hi guys,

Just wanted to share a deck I have been working on. Up to rank 5 on day 2 of this season with only 45 games played.

I recently took a 6 month break (pre Kara release) from hearthstone after reaching top 100 legend with a N’Zoth control warrior.

Since returning a week ago, I managed to get legend relatively easily once I got used to the new cards and current meta etc.

Due to the huge amounts of aggro, particularly (but not limited to) during the opening few days of climb, I decided to take control warrior back out for a spin.

I noticed it has fallen out of the meta recently due to the Jade druid value so I decided to relight the N’Zoth variant given how much of a hard time druids have clearing big boards.

This has still allowed me to make my deck very anti aggro based so it eats all the pirate warriors, midrange/jade/aggro shamans and dragon priests (although I’ve only played one of them so far, this deck used to destroy the old dragon priest anyway).

This is my stats so far:

12-4 warrior

10-1 shaman

3-4 rogue

2-2 druid

1-1 warlock

1-0 hunter

1-0 mage

1-0 paladin

1-0 priest

As you can see, it struggles a little with miracle rogue (as control warrior always has) although it is by no means an auto loss.

Druid is 50/50 along with warlock (although the warlock loss was to zoo winning 2 25% brawls!) so far and all other match ups haven’t even been close!

Let me know if you try this deck and how it works out for you…It takes a lot of games to get used to the passive play style of control warrior so if you don’t know how they work, expect a few more losses. (I have about 5000 wins with control warrior over the years).

Don’t have Ysera. Is Ragnaros good and fair substitution?

Ysera is really strong simply because of the chance to get dream and the fact that dragon priests don’t run entomb anymore so they can’t remove it easily.

Rag would be a fair substitute but I might just switch for another deathrattle minion instead.
