I’ve actually been playing super close games against reno decks with this deck and it’s really good at beating dragon priest as well as most midrange decks and even the agro pirate decks. It should be noted that I’m using snipe as a quick replacement to quick shot. It seemed like a bad idea at first but it does work when you’re on the early offensive.

This deck is useless . Don’t try it . You can’t even pass rank 20

That’s because you don’t know how to play it, Im currently rank 9 and if you can’t pass rank 20 then u’re not too good

Hmm looks pretty interesting might hold of on crafting it now tho with the expansion coming out quite soon and all. However I’ll defiantly look out for snake traps In packs as they will be a pain to craft.

Onlying use this deck fresh in ranked I went from Rank 25 – Rank 11 in 2 days of light playing. The only card swaps I would recommend is swaping the Scavaging Hyenas for Dire Wolf Alpha and swapping 1 Quick Shot for 1 Tracking. Dire Wolf Alpha has good synergy with Alley Cat at turn 2, also with Unleash the Hounds and Snake Trap. I have rarely found Dire Wolf Alpha in a unplayable situation as it has a immediate effect, where as I find Scavaging Hyena is consistently the target of polymorph and other such spells. I also trade 1 Quick Shot out for 1 Tracking this is more of a prefference thing I find it works either way I just like having the ability to select from 3 cards and not have an empty hand to draw. Just my 2 cents but its not to shabby going from Rank 25-11 in the last 3 days of the Janurary 2017 season

Any replacement for the other quick shot dude? No way I’m buying BRM this close to the rotation.

Worst Hunter deck I have ever tried. Can’t beat Reno decks because you’re not fast enough. Can’t beat control decks because your secrets does nothing. Only good vs aggro pirate decks that’s all.

This secrets are perfect counters to aggro decks.

I would suggest maybe running misdirection or dart trap.

I replaced it with a Cat Trick. It’s good against other kind of decks but it also gives a beast and board.

Snake is hard to replace since it helps with Hyena win condition. But you can sub another trap in its place like Snipe. Make sure you play it around turns 3-5 to get the most value from it sniping Totem Golem or Tomb Pillager is super rewarding.

No answers against Pirate Warrior, all the earlydrops are too weak against those new
    shiny overstated SMOrc-Cards

Decent deck, although the bear traps seem very inconsistent and underpowered. Playing this deck you are the aggressor usually, so bear traps will only trigger once you have lost the board basically. Maybe i will change them to freezing, however then the houndmasters lose their value in the deck as well. Any thoughts?

I think bear trap is use to gain an early board when they use an early jade golem or patches to attack your face. As for houndmaster, I agree with you because there isn’t enough beasts for synergy. Maybe rat pack or dispatch kodo would be better?

I don’t have bear traps so I replaced them with cat trick. It worked well for me in 2 days of playing (though at low ranks) – opponents consistently trigger it and it gives me 4 attack on my turn + synergy with houndmaster.
