Mulligans

General Mulligans

Lost in the Jungle and Fire Fly are staple early game tempo cards, though Fire Fly is preferred on board and Lost in the Jungle is ideally saved for combos that rely on a large number of (or at least 2) minions on the board.

Early game board control can be important to pull off certain combos such as Frostwolf Warlord or even Fungalmancer. So don't waste mana holding onto Lost in the Jungle when it's safe to flood the board harder with 1/1s.

Corridor Creeper helps to win tempo in the early game, especially if you are forced to hero power a lot in the first turns.

Unidentified Maul can be great to snowball the game or win some tempo back with board buffs. However, it's main function as a mulligan card is to help win back tempo in the early game.

Hello, my name is Tigger.

I created this Odd Paladin deck to do everything an Odd Paladin does, except slightly better. If you can’t beat em, join em while beating them too, right?

So yeah, normally an Odd Paladin relies on Fungalmancer, Frostwolf Warlord, and occasionally the Maul, Baku, or Tarim to create enough board presence to start winning in tempo over their opponent. I added two Blood Knights for extra tempo plays.

I wasn’t kidding when I said I wanted to do everything Odd Paladins did, but better. Specifically, I considered the ditto. Regular odd paladin has little to no hard removal, as well as relies on divine shield minions to outvalue the other Odd Paladin in the early game. Playing Blood Knight in these crucial early tempo fights allows you to STEAL THEIR TEMPO, often leading to snowballing the game.

Early Game:

Blood Knight + Argent Squire or Righteous Protector is a Turn 4 summon a 6/6 + 1/1 combo.

Mid Game:

Blood Knight + Argent Squire or Righteous Protector x 2 is a 9/9 + 1/1 + 1/1 combo

Late Game:

Play Taunts, Divine Shield minions, perhaps the Divine Shield Maul. Blood Knight.

**NOTE** This deck was built pre-Hall of Fame rotation. After Hall of Fame rotates Divine Favor, replace Divine Favor and perhaps a Blessing of Might or Acherus Veteran for 1-2 Witch’s Cauldron.
