I really wanted to make a deck with Mega-wind fury work and this is what I ended up with. It’s a divine spirit/topsy turvey/inner fire deck that relies on keeping one wind fury minion alive and then using whirlwind tempest/divine spirit/topsy turvey together to OTK (sorta) your opponent.

Do you actually have any success with this deck? I appreciate the intention, but in my experience these “Two-Turn Kill” decks don’t really work unless its something like Wall Priest, where you can try to setup your combo multiple times and eventually your opponent just can’t answer one.

The most success I’ve had is by dropping multiple threats on board, like harpy and shade-quill, and in some instances I end up with mega wind fury harpy and in others I end up with a 28 attack shade-quill. The deck is fast enough to get the combo pieces but the set up involved in getting mega-windfury off is more of a hassle than it’s worth.

I’m tinkering with the idea of using joybuzz to get the elemental to cost 1, or the totem possibly, but I don’t have the dust to craft so it’s more of a theory at this point.

If you have any ideas or improvements I’d love to see a deck really take advantage of whirlwind tempest. Other classes I wanted to try were Druid, for dream petal florist (the card that reduces cost by 7) but I don’t see an OTK there, or shaman to give minions windfury either by spell or minion.

I have a somewhat similar Shaman deck with Linecracker, the idea being that I drop Linecracker on one turn and then Windfury + Tempest to overkill a minion or two and then either go 3×10 or 2×20 face. I usually also cast Ancestral Recall on the Linecracker the same turn I drop it to try to help it stick. It’s a fun concept, but I don’t get much luck with it–warriors can still clear both Linecrackers on 10 mana, and most other decks either have a silence/sap or are aggro and have already either won or conceded by Round 10.
