Mulligans
General Mulligans
The general mulligan is weapon first, neutral minions second. If you get a good hand of neutral minions it isn't bad to run since you'll be hiding beneath the masquerade which people will approach differently.
Aggro Mulligans
The mulligan remains the same against Aggro, and with the possibility wandmaker might spawn extortion it will add to the board control potential. Here you'll be searching for damage spells (coerce, wicked stab, etc.) to help with board control or an additional cloak of shadows to give more time against Aggro like Quest Hunter. With Garrote you just drop it once you find it.
Combo Mulligans
This deck build also opens the possibility for the combo otk.
Guild trader + prep + garrote + prep + garrote and then Grand empress to cast and draw out all your bleeds for a 32 dmg bleed out in one turn.
or
You simply cast one garrote when you have spare mana and save one prep + garrote to initiate the combo of prep + garrote + scabs + guild trader + grand empress for a 28 damage (4+4+4)(4+4+4+4) bleed out considering you haven’t drawn any yet allowing you to pin the finish with your weapon provided you have been using your weapon primarily for board clearing.
