My take on Aggro Demon Hunter with the new cards added. The deck got a ton of upgrades from the new set, most notably:
Demon Companion: Its basically Animal Companion for 1 mana with
smaller stated minions, perfect for a low curve aggro deck to help push
damage or control the board.
Trueaim Crescent: This weapon
allows you to push face damage with your minions, and then attack into
the minion you want to kill and let your crew attack again into the
minion. When paired with Ace Hunter (which makes you and your minions
immune when attacking) it makes for some disgusting value.
Manafeeder Panthara: This is a 2 drop with a good stat line for 2 mana
that also draws you a card when you use your hero power. This is a
perfect fit for Demon Hunter since our hero power is so efficient at
just 1 mana.
Voracious Reader: One of the issues with a low
curve aggro deck such as this is you will run out of gas, this little
lady refuels your hand after you run out of gas. I have her as a 1 of
since it’s some what situational since sometimes you want to hold onto
cards for finishers so you might not get lower than 3 cards.
Wand
Maker: Demon Hunter has a lot of great 1 drop spells, and for 2 mana
you’re getting a 2/2 body and a free card. Even if you get Mana Burn
it’s still great to disrupt your opponent’s next turn, especially if
they’re a control deck.
Ace Hunter: I mentioned this card
earlier, but IMO it’s one of the strongest cards in the set, the ability
to control the board without damaging yourself or your minions is
simply amazing for an aggro deck that needs to maintain board control to
win. Pair this with Trueaim Crescent and you can push face damage as
well as have your minions clean up a bothersome minion in the same turn.
Magehunter: While the stats on this minion aren’t impressive, she
allows you to deal with nasty deathrattle minions, or silence a taunt so
the rest of your team can push face damage. If you have Ace Hunter on
the board you can silence, do 2 damage to a minion and still survive.
This is another card I run as a 1 of since it’s definitely a situational
card.
Glide: This is an amazing refuel engine once you run out
of cards. It also allows you to disrupt your opponent’s hand if they
are playing a combo or control deck, as well as allow you to dig in your
deck for an answer or lethal damage if you don’t have anything useful
in hand. Great card, I run this over Skull of Guldan, it’s an extra
card and costs 2 less mana.
Here’s a game replay where I absolute crush this Murloc Paladin, he couldn’t keep anything on the board the entire game:
