Mechwarper is number 1 priority, your dream situation is drawing 2 mechwarpers and throwing out a bunch of mechs on turn 3. (or turn 2 with coin) Naturally, we will look for other cheap mechs and 1 drops too to go with this game plan. You may want to keep Scorp-o-matic if you are likely to be against an enemy playing 1 or 0 attack minions. (Control decks that may play doomsayer, or druid in general.) Frostbolt is not a bad keep either if you are facing a shaman, or a priest, or some other class with early 3 health minions. Never keep anything 3 mana or above, even with mechwarpers.

Provisional decklist for a potential mech mage in Kobolds and Catacombs. Made this due to the first mech deck-friendly mech since League of Explorers. Still thinking of potential changes. This deck is unlikely to be strong, but I love playing mech mage so I’m going to try it anyway. The Scorp-o-matic is helpful for killing small minions like Patches the Pirate against fast decks which is pretty minor but it can also kill Doomsayer vs. control. It can also kill 1 attack taunts which are super common in druid decks of both aggro and midrange variety. Obviously, Crazed Alchemist can do this too but it’s not a mech. Honestly, I think that if I do run this card it will be a one-of but I might try 2 at first. Plus, changing 1 card doesn’t justify making a hstopdecks deck for it 🙂
