will this deck be updated to fit the current meta or not? i like playing control warlock but don’t have all the new K&C cards to do it, and i still want to be competitive.
I replaced one Happy Ghoul with a skulking geist to help with those jade druid matchups. Before when you faced a jade druid and if he survived your DK Gul’dan you could just concede, not anymore. Just save up some siphon souls for the last couple of jades and you will be good to go 🙂
Take the happy ghouls out, put alextrazsa and elise in. Alex for druid & mage matchups where you can halve the opponent and finish off after 1-2 turns before they summon exodia. Alex also for pirate warrior where you just need some more health to win. Elise just for extra minions in annoying taunt warrior matchup.
No one runs Jaraxxus anymore? You can use Jaraxxus before “N’Dan” to get back the 6/6 it summons, without the need of packing Dread Infernals too, while also providing somewhat of a good’ol Win Condition against some matchups.
I use jaraxxus myself in matchups like hunter or big priest or control warrior, where he’s OP. I think he’s just a fine still, but some decks are simply more techies vs aggro or something
Hit and miss deck. Has some serious teeth at times, other times the amount of damage you do to yourself without any major heals (RIP Reno) leaves one wanting. Gul’dan and Lich King are brutally low tempo plays that just aren’t enough when needed.
I’ve been playing this deck with -1 Lich King and -1 Hellfire for +2 Blastcrystal Potions, and it’s been working great! The only matchup I am having tons of trouble with is the Jade Druid matchup. Does anybody have advice on this? Maybe add in some Twilight Drakes?
Remove one black crystal potion and run the 6 mana epic wich removes every one cost cards in each players decks/ hand and rip jade druid. You dont need void caller and mistress of mictures after turn 6. They are there for early game.
The six mana card is Skulking geist and remember it only removes 1 mana *Spells* which is good against Jade Idol. Talking about voidcaller and mistress is unnecessary here
I m agree some of mentions above. 1 of dread infernal maybe exchange with a 5 cost minion like malchezar or leroyy.. i dont have atm leroy but i m gonna craft it after a few tries with malchezar…
Btw i failed against quest mage.. at turn 10 he put x2 spell decrease minion on board and finished hi squest immediately.. after then fireball till i die. Any tips while playing against that class ? (already 2 times used frost nova. 1 times blizzard and 2 times secret immunity) it is really annoying….
I find it exceedingly hard to believe he went 21 straight wins. If so, he got the most favorable match ups known to man. I’m finding almost 0 aggro opponents with this deck, do the point where I’m tempted to cut weak spells like Siphon in exchange for spells which can actually kill the 11/11 jade’s I’m seeing every game.

I’ve been playing this deck and I think it’s great. It beats evolve Shaman, Elemental Mage and most aggro. I replaced Dread Infernal with Bonemare for extra big taunts plus a 5/5 body is nice. I know it’s 2 less demons to get back with Gul’Dan but Abyssal Enforcer, Voidwalker and the new demon is enough. It’s definitely a slow deck and takes time to learn but it’s so much fun and more importantly it’s not Zoolock. Finally I think Warlock is going to be goood this expansion.
Most deck and cases yes, but here Zealot survives two ticks of defile, and then dies, allowing you to clear up to 6 health by itself (as long as something dies to the first tick).
I have tried this and it is very good, lost 1 then won 6 in a row starting only at rank 20. Met 4 good decks with plenty of the new cards. I lost my first game to a murloc pally because I was being far to careful and trying to preserve some clears until he built his board. Couple of cards and they all had too much health. Since then I just kill everything I can and heal, trade and clear until you get to turn 10+. 3 people just conceded when I got a board full of big demons. Its looking good for this deck.

Don’t get baited by this deck. It’s shit tier against most other decks.
Just been crushing this deck with taunt quest warrior, glad so many people are using it.

Been playing all day, I face this deck 90% of the time, so annoying. Deck is completely broken.

Beat this deck all the time still with midrange hunter. It’s not that good

That’s favored for this deck with some handlock like changes, but this deck definitely isn’t great vs hunter

No, just had the situation multiple times. When triggered, the spell continous with the spellpower ability doing 6 damage in 3 phases.

It’s a cool deck, literally shits on every aggro-midrange in the meta, but loses to any value strategy (like Tempo Warrior or Elemental mage)

Ugh just ran into 3 Pirate warriors around rank 11-12. Even with early heals and happy ghoul I really wanted an big taunt or weapon breaker
Then tech a taunt or weapon breaker in?? It’s not that hard.
ghoul can be cut for weapon removal tech oozes or elemental 1-5 taunts
What do you think about replacing a dread infernal with prince malchezar?
this seems to be a late game deck, and he’s a 5/6 demon for 5 cost. all other cards the same.
Malchezar is bad in all decks except for maybe a fatigue deck. You don’t want 5 random legendaries in your deck – It makes it worse.
I’m inclined to take leeroy over the prince… speed kills
He was 21-0 last time I checked ! The guy climbed from rank 22 to 10 without losing !!! Will be trying it as soon EU is live
