    Questing Adventurer is a good replacement for VanCleef. You play it at the beginning instead of at the end of your turn. It only gives +1/+1 rather than +2/+2, but if it survives, you can continue adding to it on subsequent turns.

    I know this isn’t easy to replace…but replacement for Vancleef?

      I ended up putting in Barnes bc it has some good targets

      Shiv or second Shadow Strike. You could also consider Dark Iron Skulker.
