Witchwood just came out and behold, my brand new secret paladin deck list. I’m not running that many cards from the new expansion, just Bellringer Sentry. Not to mention some old favourites such as Mysterious Challenger and Secretkeeper. There’s also the addition of Hydrologist and Mad Scientist, but I’ll just delve in to a few card choices and a couple strategies with this deck.

With all that being said, let’s look at the new friend of this deck,

This card isn’t exactly Mysterious Challenger, but it acts in a similar way. When you play this card, you’re looking for Getaway Kodo or Redemption, as once Bellringer Sentry dies you can revive him and get a secret. This is a minor way he’s better than Mysterious Challenger, because he has a deathrattle which synergizes with the aforementioned secrets. He’s definitely strong, but not as powerful as Mysterious Challenger

The next card I’m going to talking about is

Ah yes, an old favourite. 3 Mana for a weak weapon and 3 weak minions, so simple, yet so good, and yet with so many other choices, why this card? Well, I was initially planning on running a second Truesilver Champion and a copy of Sunkeeper Tarim, but after getting my ass kicked by several Baku the Mooneater paladin decks, I realized these cards were too slow.  Sunkeeper Tarim most of the time was a downside for me as Baku the Mooneater gave my opponent a swarm of little minions, and Truesilver Champion became a bad choice because my opponents minions were 1/1s, 2/2s, or 3/3s at best, but they had a field full of these small minions. If you want to play this deck,Muster for Battle will help you curb stomp all of your opponent’s silver hand recruits and PUNCH THEIR FACE!!!!

The Last Card I’m going to be talking about is Aldor Peacekeeper

Muster for Battle is great against Baku the Mooneater paladin decks, but what about pesky midrange decks? That’s what Aldor Peacekeeper  is for. Most Midrange match ups are fairly easy to win with Aldor Peacekeeper by your side, as he can make your opponents minions become chumps. He’s pretty bad in Baku paladin match-ups (unless your opponent is playing a weird buff Baku deck) so try and avoid having him in your hand.

Anyway, to sum this up, this a cheap deck for anyone who’s starting up hearthstone, now for a few replacement cards.

Loatheb can be replaced with Truesilver Champion or Blessing of Kings

Call to Arms can be replaced with Truesilver Champion or Lost in the Jungle

Well that’s all, I hope you enjoy and have as much success as I have with this deck! (I’m currently at rank 5 and I haven’t lost a game with this deck yet).
