Never give up on the quest , although you can keep it and not play on the turn one if your opening hand offers u nice Pyromancer combo , quest could easly trigger Pyro's ability to clear some minor threats.

Crystology is what we're looking for in order to not fall being on board , Acolytes and Stonehills are the way to go

Buffoon is the key to victory , allows us to complete the quest ealier and gives flexibility with Pyro when looking forward to clear board a little bit ( :

Corpsetaker is a solid four-drop. Good against slower decks , thanks to divine shield is able to survive to turn 5 or 6 , assuring it can hold some BoKs or Steeds. Always keep against possible aggro , but in that case YOU NEED TO MULLIGAN Zilliax and Shirvallah.

Truesilver provides some single-target removal if u don't have idea what are you facing

Hai there !

After some lab (unsuccesful) experiments with ControLock I’ve decided to try out something cool and fresh!

Does anyone remember Un’goro’s meme called “The Last Kaleidosaur” ? Quest Paladin might finally become a thing! With quite a nice amount of support (current star Banana Buffoon) completing the quest is not that tough as it was in the past!

The deck’s got classic set of well known tools such as :

– Board clears : equality + pyro/cons ; Sunkeeper Tarim ; possibly Pyro + bananas

– Survivability : some lifesteal with Corpsetaker + Zilliax/Shirvallah and Uther are usually enough to handle aggro/zoo decks

– Consistent value : being able to deal with 15/23 divine shielded Lynessa or huge Galvadon (times two thanks to zola) might put your foes into some trouble

But also has got some insane burst potential !
Uther + double truesilver provide 31 damage over seven turns against control oriented enemies such as ControLock
On the other hand we have Galvadon being able to pop our foe even for 34 damage by himself , doesn’t it sound interesting?

However , the biggest advantage of the deck is that it plays really smoothly as control , mid-range or combo deck

Possible changes to this masterpiece are
either replacing Shirvallah with Stormwatcher to make the deck more aggresive
cutting Tarim for Shrink Ray
or removing Corpsetaker + Shirvallah/Stonehills package for Devilsaur and Mechano Eggs to improve proactive gamestyle

I’ve heard of some rumors saying that Alex or Faceless/Taldaram would be perfect inclusions , but I’d say it’s an overkill without actuall bonuses. Galvi is able to close out games by himself and he doesn’t have charge so Faceless isn’t so great , on the other hand Taldaraming Lynessa REALLY REALLY LATE just for two Stegodons for the cost of Zola , Buffoon and others isn’t worth at all.

Enjoy the deck , give it a try and fall in love with it !
So far I’ve won about 67% games with quite a nice winstreak of ten victories.
