Deck Import

This Deck is a simple concept of the new set coming out.

The Flavor of the deck follows a few different types of mage all the while making a completely different type of one. You see most mages in the past have relied on steady spell burn or heavy burst combos such as Alexstrasza

But no this deck does something comepletely new! This deck revolves around the idea of steady minion damage, firm board control and suprisingly LIFESTEAL.

Opening hands:

VS AGGRO: You should keep cards like FrostboltBreath of Sindragosa and Ice Walker. Frost bolt should allow you to deal with anything fast in the first few turns, while Ice walker will allow you to stall a turn or two. Breath is the same case as frost bolt. All around Breath is a REALLY good card (1 mana for 2 damage board control on top of freeze is really nice)

VS CONTROL: Vs control is where this deck may not do so hot, As with any deck that relies on minions. Arcane Intellect Is a must along with Pyros. Arcane intellect will allow you to survive in the more drawn out games. And you cant really “control” Pyros per say.

Flow of the game:

This is how most of your games should go:

Turn 1: Most of the time you really wont be doing anything in the first turn. Seeing as how the deck only has a singular 1 cost card.

Turn 2: Turn 2 is when you want to be dropping something on the field or removing something from there board (if they have anything). A good turn 2 drop would be Arcanologist or Ice Walker.

Turn 3: Pretty similar To turn 2. At this point removal is important because you want to avoid as much damage as possible because the name of the game here is: Stall. Tar Creeper is important here but not necessary. Another valid Play is pinging something or dropping Frost Nova,  Arcane Intellect to set up better for your next turn.

Turn 4: Turn 4 is your “power spike”.Steam Surger or Water Elemental are strong drops both ways. Steam Surger especially synergizes with Tar creeper As it offers some protection for it. Flame Geyser on top of it gives you some awesome board control on top of it. It also gives you another elemental for everything else.

Turn 5: Servant of Kalimos Should be your primary drop here. Decent stats help but the elemental you get is what your in for. This turn is mostly used to build your board better.

Turn 6: Here is where you should be really commanding the game. There is no distinct moves you should be making here. Just doing what you have been doing. Board control and steady minion damage. Blizzard has been made available to you if they have a big board as well. Dropping Pyros again is not a bad choice or whatever elemental you got from servant. or Ice Block

Turn 7: Same as turn 6. Drop Ice Block if you have not already

Turn 8: Same as turn 7 but dropping Sindragosa or setting up for your next turn for frost lich is important.

Turn 9: Frost Lich Jaina. Do what you got to do to catch up if your behind. The lifesteal from your elementals and Ice Block  should be enough to carry you through to turn 10.

Turn 10: Looking for ways to end the game now. Pyroblast should be enough.

And that is it!

Unfortunately I would not reccomend swapping out any cards at the moment due to this being a new set.
