Mulligans

General Mulligans

Mad scientist is a great early minion to compete on the board and his death rattle of pulling a secret is wonderful. It thins the deck getting you closer to your combo and the secrets help you survive to pull it off. Arcane intellect is good early cycle to dig into your deck for combo cards and free effects.

Midrange Mulligans

This deck is a combo deck, however when it is not doing that is plays similar to a control or midrange deck. Use your resources well and if you do not burn a combo piece you can go over the top if you don't fall too far behind.

Combo Mulligans

The same as vs control if your opponent has 8+ cards in hand and you can draw 2 burn a card from there deck. Every piece is needed in most hearstone combo decks and people would rather pack an extra piece of interaction over a redundant effect if there is one possible.

Control Mulligans

Control and combo decks rely on certain cards if you play either of these cards while your opponent has at least 8 cards in hand you will burn cards from there deck. This can stag you a quick win which this deck does not often get.

This is a combo deck that uses the cost reduction of sorcerer’s apprentice, the clone effects of molten reflection and archamage antonidus to kill your opponent in a single turn. Normally this combo would cost 14 mana. However if you play emperor Thaurissan with four combo pieces in hand all of these cards can be played in a single turn. The most convenient order is apprentice, apprentice, molten reflection, antonidas, and then molten reflection. This will leave four apprentices in play and a fireball in hand to continue to finish the game.
