Mulligans
Something I’m working on. I must be a glutton for pain because Shaman on ranked is a hard life to live right now. But, holding on to a totem and either one of the transform cards or tech cards yields consistently positive results. The point is to make the game numbers focused with your effects or taunts surviving, essentially making up your offense and defense on the fly while they struggle to save something from their card strategy. Shut them up, and punish.
A buddy of mine is going to remove an ooze and an owl for 2 maelstrom cards. If played right, you “should” be able to dominate early enough to shut down decks that take longer to establish and discourage aggro decks as you build up your late game. Evolve as many cards at once as possible, 3 has been my minimum, transform those that get damaged, save Al’Akir for some of your opponents damaged cards or face depending on how your doing. Two bloodlusts mean using one earlier than lethal range is plausible.
Open to critique, not sure if this is considered a “control” deck or not so clarification on that would also be appreciated.
