Mulligans
General Mulligans
Look for 1 and 2 drops, especially Arcanologist. When followed by Kirin Tor Mage, it provides a nice early game tempo. Elemental Evocation is a bit tricky. If you have Water Elemental or Bonfire Elemental it definitely is a keep. But if you don't have either one, and if you don't have 2 or 3 drops, it's better not to keep. 4 drops are good to keep with coin all the time. Frostbolt should be kept only against aggro.
This Tempo/Midrange deck combines several good packages together, such as secret, Elementals, and Corpsetaker, without sacrificing the good old Fireball/Frostbolt removal/reach cards for the sake of the upgraded hero power. The result is a very well rounded deck that performs particularly well in rank 4 to legend bracket.
Elemental Package consists of Elemental Evocation, Fire Fly, Tar Creeper, Water Elemental, Bonfire Elemental, and Blazecaller). This is the core of the deck, giving you tempo, board presence, card draw, and removal options.
Corpsetaker Package consits of Zilliax, Argent Commander, and Stormwatcher. The latter helps the deck as it is also an Elemental. I believe Corpsetaker is the best neutral 4-drop in the game right now, and inclusion of this package is worth it.
Secret Package is very small consisting of Arcanologist, Kirin Tor Mage, and Explosive Runes. One can try including Secretkeeper and Counterspell, but I belive this version performs better.
