Elemental Shaman (Season 45)

Hello everyone, my name is Filric and today I want to discuss with you some new possible decklists for the Ladder when the new expansion "Kobolds and Catacombs" will be released. I am fairly new to this game, I started playing in April when "Journey to Un'Goro" was released, so I still have to improve my playstyle, but I want to give you a quick take of what the Shaman can possibly do in the future, rotation wise. Probably the Evolve / Devolve mechanic will still be competitive on the ladder, while the new Totem-centric cards won't be as powerful, so instead I will try to analyze the potential hidden in the Elemental package.

Grumble, Worldshaker seems good at a first glance, allowing you to reuse some powerful Battlecry effects, and Murmuring Elemental is just awesome, with the proper setup: the deck runs quite a lot of Battlecry minions, so the synergy with the new Elemental can be preserved and maybe exploited to gain maximum value, we have the Jade Golem mechanic too as a backup plan that also synergize well with Murmuring Elemental. The removal package of Maelstrom Portal, Lightning Storm and Hex provide a decent number of ways to stave off aggressive decks.

I hope for the future that the Elemental option could be improved even more, the decklist probably will change to add some tech-specific cards, depending on the shaping metagame, or even to smooth out the mana curve.
