DoctorBattle’s Axe-Heavy, Shielded, Face-Smashing Deck

Intro: This deck is a fun deck i created to smash fatigue-type mage, druid, and priest decks. It also counters face shaman, hunter, and rouge decks quite effectively. Every card is a Warrior Card, so you feel like a true Garrosh when you play this deck. 

I have used this deck for about a month, and it’s very unconventional, which, I think, gives an unexpected advantage. I always have fun with this deck, and get unexpected results, plays, and satisfaction.

This is not a master ladder climbing deck, but I used it to lvl 16 last month while still playing other random decks I use. I hope you try it out and enjoy that axe-swinging as much as I do!

TIPS & PLAYS:

• You want to keep an axe equipped at all times, if possible. Especially good at the start is a Fiery War Axe or a King’s Defender.
• Don’t be afraid to wack the minions with your Axes and take the face DMG. I find, the constant destruction of an enemy face army, before it can be built, is quite demoralizing to your opponent.
• Having 2 Fierce Monkeys & 2 Axe Flingers provides excellent defense & early combo defense as your axes swing. Use 1 Fierce Monkey, 1 Axe Flinger, 1 Frothing Beserker and your Axe DMG as a gr8 play. You can do it twice! Stack the Armorsmith in there for fireworks!
• Use Death’s Bite to crush happiness = 4 dmg x 2 durability, and after the 2nd attack = deathrattle is 1 dmg to all minions. 
• Armorsmith, Frothing Beserker are great to play together with a Fierce Monkey and Axe DMG.
•  Orgimmar Aspirant is a great play vs a Mage’s secret of “duplicate.”
• Stacking Magnataur Alpha with Charge is a beast combo to take down big bois late as it hits 3 enemies for 7 points DMG each.
• Stacking Arcanite Reaper, + 2 heroic Strikes + Orgimmar Aspirant = 14 points DMG on first strike & 7 DMG on the second strike = intensely satisfying!
• You only need to keep one or two minions on the board at a time to help counter vs enemy spells.
• Use minions sparingly & in fun combos, while using your axes to pressure face smashing constantly.
• VARIAN WRYNN is a gr8 closer at lvl 10 = you will probably get 1 minion on the board, 1 spell, and 1 axe.
